Before Dalton could respond, the director called for Tobias. "Tobias, there's a shot we need to retake!"

Stretching his neck, Tobias shouted back, "Got it!"

Dalton remained silent. As a powerful capitalist, the entire crew might as well call it a day if he showed his face. Only Jacqueline was aware of his visit, while the rest of the crew assumed he was just a friend of Tobias.

Unlike Jacqueline's cautiousness, the rest of the crew didn't think much of this visitor who had come to observe. "Mr. Yarwood, perhaps you'd like to return to the hotel for now? Once Tobias finishes shooting, I can have him meet you there," Jacqueline suggested in a low voice. "The environment here isn't great, and I'm worried it might not suit you."

"That won't be necessary." Dalton glanced toward the ongoing shoot, raising an eyebrow. "I'll wait for him to finish."

Jacqueline hesitated but relented. "Understood."

Indeed, Dalton's presence was too overwhelming for ordinary people.

As she turned to leave, Dalton spoke again. "Has she called you?"

It was obvious who he meant-Wynter.

Jacqueline responded immediately, "She did. She also mentioned you were coming and told me to make sure you were well taken care of."

Dalton finally smiled faintly. His voice was so low that one wouldn't hear it if they weren't paying attention. "At least she has some conscience."

The day darkened as filming continued.

The director genuinely had a reason to call Tobias back. For some reason, one of his shots hadn't been recorded despite the fact that the camera had been running. The director was confused as he asked a supporting actor to help Tobias get into the scene.

For the past few days, Tobias had been in a near-total digital detox. Wynter had instructed Jacqueline to ensure that he wasn't distracted by family matters, and Jacqueline had obeyed, keeping the recent news away from him.
