Chapter 323 I’m Feeling Terrible

“Good night,” said Boris.

Ziana pressed her lips, saying nothing.

At the beginning of the three years of their marriage, she was often around Boris and acted all girly before him. She would ask him to do the things that other couples do, like taking couple photos, watching movies together, and so on. However, whenever she made a recommendation, he would refuse her and say he was too busy.

Ziana used to be obsessed with Boris, like every girl who fell in love. She would beg him to tell her a bedtime story.

Yet never had he told one.

Boris said he couldn’t tell a story and never read those childish stories.

So Ziana didn’t mention it again after that.

Now the time and the place had changed, and so did their relationship.

When they were married, he never told her a story. But now, when they divorced, she heard him tell one.

“Finished?” Ziana’s eyelashes flickered, and she looked up at Boris with indifferent eyes. “I don’t like listening to bedtime stories at all, and you are such a bad storyteller. It sounded very boring. Don’t do that again,” said she.

Speaking of which, she smiled perfunctorily and added, “But you can tell your girlfriend one. She might like bedtime

stories.”

Ziana got up and opened the door. She leaned forward, looked back at him, and said, “You should go.” Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

It was almost nine o’clock.

She yawned again, barely keeping her eyes open.

Boris smiled, not surprised by her reaction at all.

He stood up and walked toward the door, “Then I’m leaving. Have an early night.”

Ziana didn’t reply, with obvious impatience on her face.

Boris fell silent and walked out.

When he left the room, Ziana suddenly said unceremoniously before closing the door, “Boris, you are going to get married. Are you still fooling around? Juggling two women doesn’t prove your charm. The real charm of a man lies in his unwavering devotion and responsibility. I was so stu pid that I liked you before. Now just thinking about being with you makes me feel uncomfortable.

“The biggest mistake in my life is meeting you.

“If I can lose my memory, what I want to do most is to forget the past with you. I wish I had never been with you.

“You go. Try not to appear in front of me again.”

After she finished speaking coldly, she slammed the door and turned around.

However, there was no unexpected sound of closing the door behind her.

She looked back strangely and saw Boris got his hand pressed against the door and quietly staring at her with. meaningful eyes.

“Close the door!”

Boris pressed his lips. In the next second, he pushed the door open and strode back.

Startled, Ziana shouted, “Get out!”

Boris turned a deaf ear to her and soon came to her. Ziana stared at him. Before she could speak, he pushed her against the wall.

He came aggressively and powerfully. Ziana’s brows were furrowed by his force, and she was boiling with rage. “Boris Lewis!” She pushed him vigorously and yelled, “Are you crazy? This is my home. I order you to leave now!”

But no matter what she did or said, Boris never said a word.

He looked up at Ziana with an angry face. Suddenly, Boris grabbed her waist, lifted her, and put her on the table at the entrance. Meanwhile, he grabbed both her wrists. Ziana resisted, and he became ruthless and forcefully raised her hand above her head.

Boris leaned over and pressed down on her condescendingly. He didn’t stop until their eyes were at the same level.

They were pretty close.

He looked at Ziana domineeringly.

“Boris…”

“I will not marry Vivi,” he interrupted her in a muf fled voice, “Not in the past, not now, and not in the future,”

Shocked by his words, Ziana asked without thinking, “Why?”

Then, Ziana immediately realized what she had asked and said, “Whether you marry her has nothing to do with me, but you must let me go now! Otherwise, I will just kick you and make you disabled!”

As she said that, she raised her leg and was about to kick him in his cro tch. Just as she lifted her leg up, Boris pressed

it down.

He leaned forward, pressing her tightly so that she couldn’t move..

The close and intimate distance made Ziana feel ashamed and indignant.

She finally disregarded the cultivation of the well-educated lady. She gnashed her teeth and cursed, “Jerk! Per vert! Ba stard! Let me go!”

“Boris, aren’t you ashamed of bullying a woman?”

“What the hell do you want? Let me go. I’m calling someone!”

“Donald!”

Ziana stared at him fiercely, and her eyes were red.

Boris couldn’t bear to hurt her in the end. He sighed and said, “I won’t marry someone else, and I will tell you everything when the time is right. I admit that my love for you wasn’t strong enough before.”

Boris once wavered between repaying his savior and following his heart.

He didn’t want to break his promise, nor he wanted to disappoint Ziana.

“But I never regarded juggling two women as a proud thing to show off, and I wasn’t connected to both you and Vivi either because I know how I feel about her…” He paused and

tinued his unice trembling eliahtlu “I didn’t do

So please don’t say that.”

His heart whispered, Don’t say your biggest mistake is meeting me.

Don’t say what you want the most is to forget everything you’ve been through with me.

You have already forgotten me once!>

Looking at his reddish eyes, Ziana was momentarily at a loss.

She saw Boris like this again, who looked heartbroken and lonely, like the clear moon in the depths of winter.

So what was he doing?

What was the point of the charade after the divorce?

If Boris loved Ziana, why would he push her away? If he didn’t love her, why did she feel sad to see him like that now?

Ziana turned her head, avoiding looking at Boris. “Let go of me. I’m sleepy and want to sleep,” said she.

Boris’ eyes fell on her side face. He put down her two hands and rubbed them gently.

He looked down at her, took a breath, and said, trying to keep his voice as calm as possible, “Go to sleep. I will leave

you to your peace.”

Then, Boris turned and left. He didn’t look back again this time. After walking some distance, he suddenly stopped.

He raised his hand and squeezed his brows wearily. After a long while, he took the elevator downstairs.

Keith had been waiting for him at the entrance of the hall for a long time. He was relieved to see Boris finally, and he

hurriedly stepped forward and said, “Mr. Lewis, can we leave now? It’s already very late.”

“Let’s go.”

Boris strode out of the house. Soon, his tall and straight figure disappeared in the night.

“He has gone.” Yudel stretched out his hand and covered the woman’s eyes.

He leaned lazily on the railing, looked towards the hall downstairs, and said coldly, “Your man is here.”

Gigi’s face blushed slightly from his words.

She grabbed his hand and sighed, “Guess what Boris said in Ziana’s room?”

Yudel took her hand and said absently, “He came out with red eyes. I don’t think he said something nice.”

“What good words could he say to Ziana now? They must have had a quarrel,” Gigi thought about it and said, “He just recovered his memory today. Could it be that he talked about what happened five

years ago?”

“No. He won’t break his promise,” said Yudel. He was sure of this.

Gigi believed in whatever Yudel said.

She sighed and said, “Actually, I feel that these things are quite unfair to Boris. I can tell he still loves Ziana, and that’s why he pleases your family. He must feel terrible to see Ziana and Edison so close at dinner tonight.”

Boris probably never thought that one day, because he loved Ziana, he would choose to make her forget him and push her away by himself.

Yudel was silent for a while, then suddenly pulled Gigi’s hand down and said meaningfully, “I’m also feeling very. terrible. Are you going to comfort me?”
