The Innocent Wife of Scheming President

Chapter 359: Dad, You're Awesome

Chapter 359: Dad, You're Awesome

“If I lose, I’ll treat you,” Alan Hoyle smiled. In fact, winning or losing wasn’t important to him. He came to play with his wife and daughter. This was just an interlude.

“Then next time I will try better to get a meal with President Hoyle,” Jerry Lan said with a chuckle.

As soon as the man left, Annie looked up at Alan Hoyle, “Uncle, both Big Beard and Uncle Lan can’t beat you. What are you capable of more that I don’t know?”

Olive Steele frowned and looked at Alan Hoyle suspiciously, “When did you fight with Dave Chou?”

It was the day when they met for a drink, and there weren’t signs of violence on them.

Annie was surprised at her slip of tongue. She covered her small mouth and shook her head towards Alan Hoyle. She didn’t want her mommy to know that she climbed the roof.

How could Alan Hoyle not understand? It turned out the little brat was afraid too. “It’s nothing. It was when this one time I was picking up Annie at martial arts center. Dave Chou pulled me to learn a few tricks. Annie probably thought we were fighting. My wife, you eat such a big one by yourself and don’t give me a bite.”

He was changing subject and she didn’t think much. But she purposely licked the ice cream with her tongue, then put it in front of him. She chucked and said, “It’s all my saliva. Do you still want to eat it?”

Alan Hoyle grabbed her hand to his mouth and took a bite. He smiled, “It’s not like I haven’t eaten your saliva before.”

Actually, he didn’t like sweets very much, but seeing her daughter and she happily ate, he felt bothered.

After eating his wife’s, he turned his target to his daughter, “Baby, shouldn’t you give dad a bite too?”

Annie thought for a while, then she followed her mommy licking her ice cream. After that, she stretched it out in front of him and generously said, “Here.”

Olive Steele wanted to cover her face. Next time, she couldn’t do such an embarrassing thing in front of her daughter.

Alan Hoyle laughed and took a bite. He squinted at her and his eyes seemed to say, ‘Look at you. Teaching something bad to our daughter.’

She really didn’t mean to do it on purpose, but she couldn’t protest.

After eating the ice cream, he began to teach the two ladies how to hold the gun, aim, and pull the trigger. Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

This was Olive Steele’s first time and her heart was pounding. She was really afraid that she would shoot out of the target ring and hit an empty target. How embarrassing it would be.

While Annie was very brave. She was better on the contrary of her mommy. It seemed that it was a wise choice to take some time and send her to the martial arts center every week.

Alan Hoyle held her waist and smiled at her ear, “Mrs. Hoyle, don’t lose to our daughter.”

Annie turned her head and curled up into a smile, “Mommy, it’s not embarrassing to lose to me.”

Olive Steele puffed. She tried hard and was just in position but it was thoroughly useless. While Annie already hoisted her gun for the first time, bearing her father’s demeanor.

There were a lot of people turned their heads to such a young child playing with a gun. Some even took out their phones to take video.

Olive Steele watched Alan Hoyle walk over and said something to them in a low voice. Gunshots were too loud and she couldn’t hear him. But after a moment, they gave their phones to Alan Hoyle, letting him go through it.

Although Alan Hoyle was a loved celebrity on the internet, he was careful with his child’s protection.

After playing for a while, Olive Steele felt her arms getting sore. She played without orders, she either missed targets or shot out of borders. Her best record didn’t even get close to nine.

“Alan, I quit. You stay with Annie. I’ll go to take a break at the side.”

It was nice watching them playing. Their father-daughter bond was getting stronger too. Annie had a pretty good patience. This child could stay for very long time towards things she was interested with.

Seeing his wife sitting there and rubbing her arms, Alan Hoyle whispered something to their daughter. The little girl nodded and immediately a coach came over to take his place and she continued to practice.

Alan Hoyle walked up to Olive Steele, took her arm and massaged it gently, “Is work too tiring recently? You get tired so easily.”

“No. Maybe it's because last night Annie slept on it and it still feels uncomfortable until now.” It felt like a pain in the muscles and in her bones too. She couldn’t say what the feeling was like clearly. It was just uncomfortable.

“I’ll give you a good massage.” He loved his wife. With his ability, he could take care of her for a lifetime and let her have a better life, but her persistence in some things made him have to respect her choice. He could only wait until she was finally willing to let go and happily enjoying everything he had.

He was willing to share everything with her. He wanted to hold her hand and stood on the highest peak of the world together, looking down at prosperity.

After coming out from the shooting range, Annie had a lot of fun. She couldn’t help to be chatty on the way back.

She said that she would become a super invincible sharpshooter too.

This kid always wanted to be super and invincible at everything.

This was all caused by cartoons.

But when she thought about herself at that time, she was the same too. She even told the man next to her that she was a super beautiful woman. Everyone would have their own unique childhoods. She just hoped that their child could grow up happily.

“Honey, what are you smiling at?”
