Chapter 383 Life and Afterlife
Chapter 383 Life and Afterlife
Out of the mall, Olive Steele sighed, “Mr. Hoyle, I follow you and now I become a celebrity.”
The shop assistant hoped to get a little luck from them for she was about to confess her feelings to a man she loved in her 20th birthday.
Olive Steele was happy to sign her name for the girl.
When they left, the girl sent them off and said piously, “Mr. and Hrs. Hoyle, I hope you two can be happy until the end.”
Her earnest look made Olive Steele felt embarrassed.
Inside the car, she looked at Alan Hoyle and said, “Mr. Hoyle, something is not sitting right with me.”
“Hm?”
“If we happen to part ways, I think we’re going to break so many hearts.”
His Microblog was very popular now. He didn’t update often, but number of fans was still rising. Comments and reposts were everywhere on the internet.
Perhaps, in everyone’s eyes, their story was fairytale.
Alan Hoyle reached out and stroked her forehead, “Look at you. What are you thinking? Don’t even think about it, okay?”
From the moment he caught feelings toward her, he never wanted to let go.
Even if their relationship was not blessed by his mother, even if he had to pay the price, he still submitted himself to her and loved her wholeheartedly. It was because he didn’t want to wrong her anymore nor to let his own daughter lived without a father.
Olive Steele giggled, “If one day, I happen to hurt you, do you think your fans will throw rotten eggs at me? Should I prepare a helmet now?”
“Even if you hurt me, if you can sit still and hold your title as Mrs. Hoyle, it’s all fine with me.”
“I won’t let others rob it.” she clinged to him. He was so good to her, why would she want to hurt him?
“That’s more like it.” Alan Hoyle hummed and took her to a jewelry shop.
Olive Steele looked at the magnificent decoration and exquisite glass counter, “You’re really a big spender, aren’t you?”
“I’m buying a chain to tie you so that you won’t run away.”
“What?” for her, this shop didn’t seem to sell chain that locked people.
He looked at the collection and immediately the manager came and greeted him, “Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyle.”
“Is it ready?” Alan Hoyle asked.
“It has been done according to your design. You and your wife can wait. I’ll pick it up right away.” the manager led them to the VIP room and served them tea.
“Why are you being so mysterious? What are you buying?” Olive Steele’s curiosity was aroused.
“I said I was buying a chain to lock you up.”
“I don’t buy it.” Olive Steele thought that this place only sold jewelry.
“If you don’t believe it, just wait and see.”
Before long, the manager came in with a delicate box and smiled, “Mrs. Hoyle, you should be the happiest woman in the world. Mr. Hoyle loves you so much that he orders a jewelry designed for you specially.”
“What is it?” Olive Steele opened the box curiously. It was a chain, indeed, beautiful with crescent shaped pendants and purple agates. There was a small lock with a key for it. it could be used as a necklace.
“Do you like it?” Alan Hoyle asked.
Even the manager, who was always dealing with rich men spending money on women couldn’t help looking envious this time. Olive Steele was indeed lucky.
“Mr. Hoyle, didn’t you say that you wanted a chain for me? Am I supposed to wear this on my neck or my foot? It’s too small. I don’t think it fits my neck.” Olive Steele was admiring the chain before her eyes. She loved it. Of course she did. How could she hate something specially design for herself? She couldn’t put it down.
The manager smiled and said, “Mrs. Hoyle, you’re wrong. This is an anklet made of special material. It is light and thin, but you won’t need the key to unlock it. You can try it.”
“Is that so?” Olive Steele suspected that the manager was only saying gimmick, “What if I break it?”
“You won’t.”
“If you break it, I will lock you up for sure.”
Olive Steele bit her lips and pulled the anklet, but it wouldn’t stretched. It only made her hands red.
“Don’t hurt yourself.” Alan Hoyle stroked her head. He took the anklet and opened it with a key. After that, he crouched down and put it on her.
The manager smiled, “It’s beautiful. It suited your skin tone perfectly.”
“It’s indeed beautiful.” Olive Steele couldn’t help standing up and tried walking with it.
“It looks good.” said Alan Hoyle.
The manager could see the admiration in Mr. Hoyle’s eyes toward his wife. Well, Olive Steele was gorgeous.
“Which one? Me or the anklet?” Olive Steele teased him.
She had never seen him embarrassed before, but he wouldn’t let it show either. He patted her on the head and said, “I’m so blessed to have you as my wife.”
He was usually cocky. She didn’t know what’s wrong with him today.
When they came out of the jewelry shop, she poked him, “How did you come up with such idea? I mean, the anklet.”
“Aren’t you girls more knowledgeable about this?”
Right. She understood this. The meaning of giving someone an anklet was to tie that person for a lifetime, or even in the afterlife.
She put her hand on his shoulder and watched him drive, “Babe, do you believe I afterlife?”
Alan Hoyle looked at her, “Well, I believe that I will marry you in my next life.” NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
“But, some people say that daughter is a father’s lover in his previous life. According to this theory, we’re not lovers in our past life nor afterlife. I will be your daughter in the afterlife. If you marry me, you will commit an incest.”
“What a mess.”
“But, this theory is not credible either. What a pity!”
“Then, live your life well.”
“We have to live a long life.”
“Of course.”
“We will grow old and be scary enough to scare children.”
