Chapter 21 - Shooting Ace
Chapter 21 - Shooting Ace
"Are you kidding me?" Aston yelled in rage, his face reddening as he whirled to face his men, their
expressions betraying their irritation at Arthur's offers. "There's no way I'm going to allow anyone to
betray me!"
No one in the room could remain unaffected by Arthur's offer of one hundred million dollars for the gun.
The amount was equivalent to their salaries for decades, prompting them to exchange glances as the
offer strongly tempted them.
Aston stepped up to one of his men, delivering a harsh slap to the back of the head. "Are you out of
your mind? Are you trying to betray me for a handful of coins? Do you really think you can turn on me
and get away with it?"
He glared at Arthur, rage burning in his eyes. He could feel the heat of his anger rising, yet Arthur
remained seated in his chair, seemingly unbothered. NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
"Do you honestly believe that money can buy their loyalty? Do you seriously think you can leave this
place unscathed?"
Rising from his chair, Arthur's sudden movement caused a number of the men in the room to gasp in
surprise.
He warned quietly, "I'm giving you ten seconds. If you waste this opportunity, you'll regret it for the rest
of your life—and I won't be held responsible."
He quietly spoke to himself, muttering, "I'm going to spend 20 VIP points to unlock the Firearms
Shooting skill." At once, a positive confirmation echoed through his ear.
[Right choice, host!]
[Firearms Shooting – 20 (Advanced)]
Arthur was sure that with the 20 skill points he had allocated in the Firearms, he could easily wield the
weapon when one of them handed him one.
[What did the person with an impossible problem do?]
[He decided to shoot his way out of it.]
"This is no time for cringey jokes, System!" he exclaimed.
Arthur also knew he would need to utilize his physical strength to perform some stunts afterward.
"Alright, System, I think I'll spend 30 VIP points on upgrading my body as well."
[Body: 60 (Very Good)]
Arthur felt that if he was to upgrade his body, he should also invest in upgrading his mind in order to be
able to adequately compensate for the changes. He was certain that this long-term investment would
pay off in the end.
"Alright, system, put twenty VIP points into my mind. I'm sure that having a sharper mind and being
able to think faster will be beneficial in a variety of situations."
[Acknowledged, host. Your wish is my command!]
[Excellent choice, Host!]
Arthur nodded slowly in satisfaction, feeling pleased that he had prepared himself for something that
was both challenging and entirely new. "It's sure to be a long night," he declared.

Arthur closed his eyes and let the energy flow through him. He could feel the dullness and weariness
that had settled in his body dissipate, replaced by a feeling of invigoration.
His limbs felt light, and he felt an inner strength that seemed to allow him to take in his surroundings in
a new way. He felt as if he could jump two meters high with a burst of energy.
Arthur felt a surge of power as his senses were heightened; he could hear distant noises with clarity,
pick up subtle scents, and his eyesight was sharper than ever before.
He was amazed by the sudden clarity of his mind; he'd never felt such focus before. Instantly, he felt a
deep sense of calm and the ability to work through his issues with remarkable ease.
"This must be what it feels like to be intelligent," he thought to himself, marveling at his newfound ability
to find solutions with ease.
This system had Arthur feeling addicted; with just a bit of effort, he seemed to ascend to an entirely
new realm.
"Glitzy!!!" Aston roared, his voice echoing off the walls. His patience had run thin, and he was
determined to put an end to this challenge. "Surrender now and get out of here before I make you
regret your decision!"
His fists clenched as he glared at Arthur, for never before had someone dared to confront him without
any means of defense.
"What do you have? Do you think you can break my hold on you? Do you think you're some kind of
invincible being?"
"Invincible, huh?" Arthur murmured to himself. "I never would have thought it would fit me. The one and
only Invincible Mr. Glitzy."
He then slowly turned towards the men who were brandishing their guns at him.
"Hand over your weapons and provide me with the details of your bank accounts so I can ensure the
payment of the money I promised. You don't doubt my credibility, do you? After all, it is well-known that
the Invincible Mr. Glitzy never deceives anyone."
Aston stepped up to one of his men. He was attempting to seize the weapons they held. His
annoyance was palpable, and he wanted to shoot Arthur immediately to teach him a lesson.
Aston was a feared figure in the underworld, not someone who should be trifled with.
However, just as Aston was reaching for the weapon of one of his men, the man stepped back to avoid
him. The other man quickly aimed his gun at the man.
"Throw your weapons right now to me!!!"
Arthur bellowed, and everyone in the room instantly obliged, each person throwing their weapons at
him at the same time.
"It would be wonderful to have one hundred million dollars to retire on and get away from this mafia
life," one of them sighed.
"That kind of money would give me the freedom to splurge and enjoy life without having to listen to
Aston's orders anymore."
"Mr. Glitzy looks far more dignified and wealthy than Aston. I think it's better if I follow him."
They realized they were thinking the same thing, so they decided to trust Arthur and obey his
instructions.
Arthur smiled and spun around, feeling as though his senses and reflexes had been greatly enhanced.
He swiftly snatched one gun, tucking it away in his jacket, before collecting all the other weapons with
remarkable speed and precision.
Aston was taken aback at the spectacle before him; his immediate reaction was to panic and turn to
Arthur, who was adeptly wielding two weapons in his hands, rotating them with remarkable dexterity
and precision.
[The plot has taken an unexpected turn, becoming an action-packed scene! This is sure to be exciting.
Let's see what you can do, Host!]
Arthur then leveled his gun at Aston, and before Aston could utter a word, Arthur pulled the trigger. A
thunderous bang echoed throughout the room, reverberating against the walls, accompanied by a
series of gunshots that made the glass windows rattle violently.
