The Mafia Bride (Katrina and Silas)

Chapter 82

I couldn't focus on anything after what happened in the library. Silas' touch still lingered on my skin, and his words replayed in my mind over and over.

Let them know who you belong to

I could still feel the wetness in my panties and it got worse each time I thought about what Silas had done

Even as I sat through the rest of my classes, my hands shook. I tried to take notes, but my thoughts kept drifting back to him. What was happening to me? Why did he make me feel this wayangry, confused, and something else I didn't want to admit!

I was about to go

insane and I didn't want to admit it.

When class finally ended, I hurried out of the room, clutching my books

1 had seen Aiden staring at me intently throughout the class and I wanted to be gone before he realized it

But unfortunately for me. Aiden caught up with me again.

"Hey, Katrina, you okay?" His voice was soft, but his question left me surprised.

Why was he asking me that? We weren't close enough for him to do that.

Was he planning something? I couldn't help but wonder as I stared at him silently.

His brow came up as he waited for me to answer and I nodded quickly, avoiding his gaze. "I'm fine. Just tired."

I've been lying to him since I met him, but it wasn't my fault and I couldn't be blamed

He frowned, clearly not believing me. "If you need anything, just say the word, okay? You don't have to be afraid of anyone?

His words made my stomach twist. Did he know something? Why was he telling me that when we were just meeting'

Since Silas said he was the son of an enemy, it meant Aiden was part of a mafia as well. So does he know of what I came here for? Different thoughts ran through my mind and I shook my head. trying to shake it off.

I mumbled a quick "thanks" and walked away, my heart pounding in my chest.

Later that evening, I got a message from Silas. It was short but it managed to send shivers down my spine.

Come to my office. Now.

I hesitated for a moment, staring at the words. I didn't want to go I didn't want to face him again. But I knew better than to disobey.

I wonder what he wants.

When I arrived, Silas was seated at his desk. The room was dimly lit, barely any light could pass through the thick curtains he had closed.

How does he survive in here? I wondered, already feeling claustrophobic.

Silas looked up when I entered, his sharp eyes pinning me in place.

"You've been busy today," he said, his voice barely holding any warmth.

Busy? Me? I was barely able to keep my head in the classes I had today, what does he mean busy.

I frowned. "What are you talking about?"

"Aiden," he said simply, leaning back in his chair. "He seems concerned about you. Why do you think that is?"

Oh God. This again.

I let out a groan, throwing my head back.

"Are you forgelling you had asked me to get the boy so you could kidnap him?" I growled out letting my annoyance out.

"Kidnap him Was what I said, wasn't it?" He asked, his brow going up.

I clenched my fists. I didn't ask him to be concerned"

Why

didn't he just understand that? Why would I want the person we are about to kidnap to be concerned about me?

Silas stood, his eyes on me as he rounded the desk and approached me. "You encouraged him," he said, his tone low and accusing

*I didn't!" I snapped, anger flaring, "I barely talked to him.

Silas stopped in front of me, his towering presence making it hard to breathe. "Barely talking doesn't stop him from watching you like a lovesick puppy. Did you think I wouldn't notice!"

1 glared at him, my fists trembling at my sides. "Why does it matter to you, Silas? Why are you so bothered by who talks to

me

He has time and time again repeated just how little I meant to him, so why?

His jaw tightened, and for a moment, I thought he wouldn't answer. Then, he stepped closer, backing me against the wall. His hands came to rest on either side of me, trapping me in.

"Because you're mine," he growled.

His words sent a chill through me, and my heart raced. "Yours?" I whispered, my voice shaking. "You don't own me."

Silas tilted his head, his lips curving into a smirk. "Oh, Katrina, own every part of you. Like I had said before from the top of your empty skull down to the feet I would worship, belongs to me, My chest heaved as I searched Silas' eyes with mine. I was barely able to make a coherent sentence.

Before I could respond, a sharp knock at the door shattered the tension. Silas straightened, his expression hardening as he turned toward the door.

"Come in," he said, his voice calm but clipped.

The door opened, and she walked in, the girl who tails after Aiden.

"Blair," Silas said, his tone colder than I expected.

"Am I interrupting?" she asked, though her tone suggested she didn't care.

Silas didn't move away from me immediately, "What do you want?"

Blair's lips curved into a small smirk as she crossed her arms. "Can we talk now. Alone."

Her eyes darted to me again, this time with a look that made my skin crawl,

Silas was quiet for a moment before he turned to me. "Wait outsole," he said, his voice leaving no room for argument. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.

1 hesitated, my body still pressed against the wall. Silas' gaze darkened, and I quickly nodded, slipping past Blair and out the

Outside the office. I leaned against the wall, trying to catch my breath. My heart was racing, not just from the way Silas had cornered me but also from the way Blair had looked at me.

I couldn't hear what they were saying, but their muffled voices carried through the door. Blair's tone sounded really squeezing

I glanced at the closed door, incase creeping into my chest, Who was Blair to Silas? And why did she seem so comfortable around him!

The thought made my stomach twist. Silas had always been a mystery, but this felt different. He wasn't just dangerous-he was hiding something.
