Chapter 2557: Honored Guest
Chapter 2557: Honored Guest
The queen of Ucrea widened her eyes at his identity.
Anyone who wasn't entirely disconnected from the modern world had heard of the famous Void Prince of the Kandrian Empire. There was no one who wasn't at least aware of his Master epithet.
The Dawnbringer.
This was one of the most powerful men in all of East Panama.
A Martial Master so powerful that he might as well have been in a higher Realm compared to the rest of them.
She even managed to recognize him. Not to mention, there weren't many people who were blessed with black hair and black eyes, so there really was no mistaking him even if she didn't recognize him.
She didn't even need to ask what he was doing here.
She had been amid the audience in the Human Summit. She knew of his gift to mankind and to the Martial World. And she knew of his voyage through the world to spread his power through the length and breadth of human civilization.
"...Prince Rui, I would like to offer my deepest gratitude and appreciation to you for saving our nation in our most desperate time of need. Without you, we would most certainly be doomed. The Kingdom of Ucrea will never forget our debt to you for as long as we exist."
STEP
He arrived before her.
"It's fine. Don't worry about it."
His tone was strangely nonchalant.
"I hope that you will provide me with a place for rest. Clouds are strangely not as comfortable as you'd think they'd be."
She hadn't the faintest idea what the second remark was about, but she quickly agreed to his request, guiding their savior into the kingdom as a hailed hero. It was unnerving for her to have to welcome someone as powerful as Rui into the kingdom as an honored guest. The kingdom of Ucrea was generally more insular and didn't have too much experience with this sort of thing.
And yet, they knew the stakes of this visit.
The Dawnbringer's voyage across human civilization was special and important.
It was the opportunity of a lifetime.
From his Hellbringer hypnotic embedding and his breakthrough ability, he was a walking treasure of priceless value.
This was especially true in the Era of Darkness.
Rui, on the other hand, took a good look at the Kingdom of Ucrea once they returned to it from the battlefield.
"Neat." He nodded as they sky-walked across the Kingdom of Ucrea.
It wasn't as ostentatious as the Kandrian Empire could be, but it certainly wasn't humble either. The Kingdom of Ucrea was a well-developed nation with powerful Martial Artists by the standards of the continent. Master-level powerhouses were just steps away from becoming the most powerful.
His gaze shifted to the Queen of Ucrea, who turned her attention and focus to him.
She was strong.
From what he could tell, she was definitely a high-grade Martial Master but several notches away from reaching the peak of the Master Realm.
That wasn't a surprise, considering that there were only two peak Martial Masters in East Panama at the moment. And prior to the war, there had been only three.
"Prince Rui, we have arrived at the Ucrean Citadel," the Queen informed him with a hint of pride. "The crown jewel of the Kingdom of Ucrea. We will ensure that you are offered quarters that are worthy to be your abode."
An amused smile emerged on his face. "I don't require something that extravagant. Any room will do."
"How can we dishonor our savior by offering you a commoner's room." She shook her head. "We will offer our very best to you, and nothing less than it."Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Rui shrugged lightly. "Oh well."
The fancy citadel was nice and all, but the first thing he did the moment he reached his room was crash and fall asleep. He had spent a lot of time traveling and even some time fighting, immediately needing to catch some rest to restore his stamina. Having used his Martial Mind a few times, he knew that he needed to get some highly secure sleep while he was completely asleep.
He had already decided that this was the model that he ought to operate with. It was best to travel across human civilization while taking rest stops at any Master-level powerhouses along the way and bolstering their power significantly.
This way, he could ensure that the other lines at the forefront of human civilization were also powerful enough to withstand the beast tides that ravaged their defenses.
This would have an immediate trickle-down effect where the rest of human civilization would benefit from not having to sustain additional pressure that they would otherwise be unable to sustain.
With each nation that fell, all of human civilization would experience additional pressure. Simply by slowing it down, he would buy human civilization a lot of time and a lot of relief. The Kingdom of Ucrea was just the first of many nations that he intended to help on his way to the Sekigahara Confederate. Doing so would stabilize East Panama significantly more than it would otherwise be. The influx of powerful new Martial Artistscould potentially downright halt the progress of the Beast Incursion.
"This will be my contribution to all of human civilization."
As he relaxed in his luxurious bed, he couldn't think of a better way to help all of human civilization overcome the Beast Incursion. Additionally, he couldn't think of a better way to garner more experience for himself after seven years of training the Forge of Creation. The technique system was so enormous that it took a lot of experience-diverse experience at that -to gain deeper mastery of the Forge of Creation.
Just doing so would increase his power significantly due to how much potential the technique system had. He would be able to output significantly greater results once his proficiency with it reached even greater heights. Which would eventually contribute to his ascent to a higher Realm and the fulfillment of Project Water.
