While staring at Jackson’s tense and uncomfortable demeanor, Cecilia let out a disdainful snort. “Place
the call!” she ordered curtly.
Jackson acted as if he didn’t hear Cecilia’s order and remained still.
Matthias casually leaned against a nearby pillar, his charming eyes reflecting amusement.
“Given that Mr. Yancey doesn’t seem inclined to invite us for a meal, why don’t we take the initiative
and treat him instead?”
Matthias looked at Cecilia with a charming smile after saying that.
“Ms. Yancey, how would you like your steak served? Would you prefer it elegantly placed atop a steel
bat, carved with a saber, or perhaps presented on a skewer?”
Matthias didn’t obscure his intention with those words, so all three of them grasped his meaning.
After careful consideration, Cecilia remarked, “They all sound intriguing. Perhaps we should try each of
them.”
“Okay. I have all the tools needed anyway.”
Jackson’s complexion paled, and his legs grew unsteady when he heard the playful remarks from the
two.
He was well aware that Matthias, who wielded significant influence in both the underworld and
government circles, was capable of anything.
Moreover, with the racing competition fast approaching,
Jackson was unwilling to risk anything that might jeopardize

his reservation due to his infamous reputation.
He looked at Cecilia embarrassedly and suggested, “Why don’t you make the reservation? I’ll pay for
the meal.”
“Forget about dinner. I’m not in the mood to dine with you. Let’s get down to business, Cecilia declared.
Cecilia had initially heeded Jackson’s suggestion as a means to utilize the meal as an opportunity to
sow discord between him and Juliana.
Upon further consideration, it appeared quite unappealing. Thus, she decided to forgo the meal.
Jackson didn’t believe there was anything particularly important to discuss with Cecilia. He asked
irritably, “What is it that you want to discuss?”
Christopher, already displeased with Jackson’s demeanor, grew more irritated upon witnessing
Jackson’s attitude toward Cecilia. In response, he raised his foot and was about to deliver a kick to
Jackson’s knee.
Christopher acted so fast that Jackson wouldn’t be able to dodge the attack.
Jackson broke into a cold sweat in anticipation of the
impending attack. However, Jackson was surprised to find that Christopher’s leg was blocked by
someone just as he expected to kneel in front of Cecilia due to the kick.
It was Cecilia who stopped Christopher.
Jackson gazed at Cecilia in astonishment, and despite his initial surprise, he couldn’t help but feel
thankful toward her.
However, when he contemplated what Cecilia had done to Juliana, his gratitude toward her vanished in
an instant. He then stubbornly asserted, “Don’t assume I’ll be thankful to you!”
“I never anticipated gratitude from an ingrate like you. I don’t wish for you to be harmed because I aim
to defeat you in a fair

and open race,” Cecilia retorted.
“Defeat me? You?”
“Yes, I will defeat you!”
Jackson couldn’t help but chuckle as if he had just heard the most absurd joke in the world.
“Don’t tell me you believe that simply driving Racing Master’s car makes you a Racing Master
yourself?” Jackson quipped.
“She claims she wants to beat me? Is she kidding?” Jackson thought.
Cecilia ignored Jackson’s ridicule and said, “Let’s make a bet.”
Jackson harbored absolute confidence in winning the -championship, and thus, he inquired arrogantly,
“What do you
propose we wager on?”
“If you win,” Cecilia began, “I’ll grant you ownership of the car in this garage without any cost, issue a
formal apology to Juliana with appropriate compensation, and I’ll commit to obeying any directive she
gives me without question.”
Jackson promptly agreed to the bet as the terms perfectly aligned with his interests.
“You’ve made your terms. If you end up losing, you’d better not have any regrets,” he responded firmly.
“If you’re concerned about me reneging on our agreement, I’m open to signing a formal bet-on
agreement with you,” Cecilia proposed.
That was what Jackson wished for. “Deal!”
Cecilia couldn’t help but find it funny when observing his self-assured demeanor as if victory was
already assured.
“Now, let’s discuss the terms in the event of your loss.” Jackson was confident he wouldn’t lose, so he
replied casually, “If I lose, you can deal with me however you see fit.”
Your condition is quite vague. Let’s settle on something more specific and officially document it in the
bet-on agreement Cecilia suggested.
“Okay. What do you want from me if I lose?”
Observing Jackson’s willingness to take the bait, Cecilia proposed, “If I emerge victorious. I not only
want ownership of your shares in the racing track but also for you to exit the motor racing industry and
operate a bus for free for ten years.”
Cecilia originally intended to include taxi’ as one of the terms. However, on second thought, she felt
that making him drive a bus would be more humiliating, as he would have to interact with a larger
number of people.
Jackson was at a loss for words when he heard that.
“Did I hear it right? She wants me to operate a bus?” he thought.
Matthias burst into laughter upon hearing the terms. “Ms.
Yancey, your punishment is quite amusing. However, it appears that Mr. Yancey doesn’t have the
courage to accept it. I’d wager. it’s because he can’t afford to lose,” he remarked.
“Making the country’s top racer drive a bus is akin to an insult to that racer. This is an incredibly
provocative move!” thought Matthias.
Cecilia cast a glance at the garage where the racing car was stored, and the corners of her lips curled
into a smile.
“Given that this is a bet-on agreement, the stakes on both sides must naturally be of equal value. You
can’t anticipate that I’d offer you something of high worth only to receive something of lower value in
return, Jackson, Cecilia asserted.
After uttering those words, she raised an eyebrow at Jackson. “If you don’t have the courage to wager,
I won’t press you, but you must commit to obeying my instructions and refraining from any actions
against my orders in the future,” Cecilia

declared.
Jackson was particularly susceptible to provocations, especially when they came from Cecilia. Without
any doubt, he promptly accepted it.
“Bring it on! Just in case you try to backtrack, let’s sign a formal bet-on agreement right now!”
Upon hearing this, Cecilia turned to look at Matthias.
“Mr. Quinn, please arrange for the drafting of a bet-on agreement. Then, please make sure the signing
process is witnessed by everyone at the racing track, and make the terms public after that,” Cecilia
requested.
“Alright, you can head to the lounge and wait for a while. The ágreement should be ready in no more
than ten minutes.” From NôvelDrama.Org.
With that, Matthias left.
Jackson hurriedly departed as well, feeling somewhat apprehensive about Christopher.
At this point, only Christopher and Cecilia were left in the VIP parking lot.
Christopher gazed at Cecilia and gently brushed away the strands of hair from her forehead with his
hand.
“Ceci, I never thought you’d excel not just as a skilled
motorcycle rider but also as a one-hit-wonder Racing Master,” he noted.
“That idiot is the only one who believes that Cecilia couldn’t be the Racing Master,” he thought,
referring to Jackson.
Christopher was looking forward to watching that idiot lose terribly.
Cecilia blinked and looked at Christopher in astonishment. “How do you know I can ride a motorcycle?”
Over the past three years at Quilton, she had ridden a motorcycle only twice.
Christopher tenderly touched Cecilia’s head and smiled as he said, “I not only know it, but I’ve also
competed with you. However, I lost.”
Then, he suddenly leaned closer to Cecilia and whispered in her ear, “You look stunning in that
motorcycle uniform. Your waist is so slender, and your skin is tanned. Such combination gives you a
wild and se*y appearance, which makes people
want to…”
He refrained from uttering the last two words, “conquer you,” as he was aware that Cecilia didn’t
appreciate them. Instead, he opted to convey his intent through actions. His large hand gently encircled
Cecilia’s slender waist.
-Sensing the warmth of his touch on her waist, Cecilia
instinctively felt the urge to evade, but Christopher released her before she could.
He said, “Let’s go to the lounge and get to our business.”
Cecilia initially assumed he was alluding to waiting for the bet-on agreement to be prepared, but
instead, it turned out he had something else in mind-teaching Harold a lesson.
Harold had the audacity to play dirty tricks against Cecilia previously, primarily because he relied on
Jackson’s influence within the racing track.
Now that Christopher stood up for Cecilia, Harold immediately gave in.
“Mr. Christopher Forte, I must admit I acted like a fool and a ba**ard and displayed disrespectful
behavior toward Ms. Yancey. Please accept my apologies,” Harold expressed with
remorse.
After saying that, he slapped on his face hard twice.
“Ms. Yancey, if you believe that two slaps aren’t sufficient to alleviate your anger, I’m willing to keep
slapping myself until you are satisfied,” Harold offered earnestly.

Cecilia was pleased to impart a lesson to individuals like Harold, who practiced both flattery and
denigration.
She didn’t make him stop even though Harold’s face was already badly swollen from the slaps.
As a result, Harold ended up subjecting himself to self-abasement in front of the entire racing track
audience.
He had never experienced such embarrassment before, yet he dared not put an end to it, and remorse
gnawed at him bitterly. He mused, “If I had foreseen this outcome, I would have gladly chosen to drive
a tour bus for ten days instead!”
When Matthias approached with a bet-on agreement, Harold was still in the midst of slapping himself.
His face had swelled up, resembling a face stung by a bee.
Since Cecilia had something more important to do, she let Harold go.
“That’s enough. Get lost.”
Christopher added, “Don’t ever return to this racing track.”
Harold’s face was severely swollen, and the corner of his mouth was torn, rendering him unable to
speak.
He nodded and fled away from the scene as if someone was after his life.
Cecilia took the agreement from Matthias and shifted her gaze toward Jackson after confirming that
there was no problem with the document.
“I’ll ask you one last time in front of everyone. Are you sure you want to have a bet-on agreement with
me?”
