Chapter 36
Chapter 36
Melvin held her hand and snuggled into her arms, “Feeling all good, huh?”
His breath overwhelmed her chest, and that damp, tingling sensation made her shiver all over. Jocelyn couldn’t help but squirm a bit.
Such a movement seduced Melvin, who restrained himself and let out a groan.
Jocelyn froze on the spot.
“Stop alluring me! I’m worried you can’t handle it, Melvin whispered, kissing her neck and wrapping his arms tightly around her waist, trying to get even closer.
Jocelyn stayed still and she never doubted his stamina for a second.
They lay in bed for a while longer until someone knocked on the door.
Jocelyn stirred slightly, Someone’s knocking.”
“Let them wait, Melvin hugged her even tighter.
“I’m afraid it’s Ursula. Jocelyn saw the light outside had already filled the room. It must be Ursula who would come looking for her.
Melvin was impatient and complained. Just call her and tell her you’re catching up on sleep.”
With no other option, Jocelyn got up to grab her phone and coincidentally saw a message from Ursula inviting her to have lunch together.
And she asked Jocelyn to open the door in another message.
Jocelyn replied that she didn’t sleep well last night and would skip lunch.
Then the knocking outside stopped.
Ursula teased. [Had a one-night stand yesterday night? Or anyone else is in your room?]
Jocelyn was stunned and she had to admire Ursula’s sensitivity.
She played along with her words and replied. [Yeah, so it’s not convenient.]
Ursula sent a smirking emoji, then told her to take it easy
[OK]
Jocelyn answered and ended the chat.
Just as she was about to log out of Facebook, she suddenly saw Harrison’s profile picture with his reply time at 7:56
1. After reading the message, she sighed helplessly, put the phone down, and lay back in bed.
“You touched my phone,” Jocelyn stated the fact.
Melvin looked at her with open eyes, “Got the hots for that guy?”
Jocelyn raised an eyebrow and put some distance between them, “What do you think of him?”
“He’s nothing special.” Melvin pulled her back in and buried his face in her neck, belittling that guy in a buzzing voice, “Old man, he’s got nothing on me.”
Jocelyn thought he could be so shameless sometimes
Tickled by his actions, she tilted her head, “Willow didn’t look for you?”
tumed off my phone.”
Jocelyn pursed her lips and gave him a side-eye, ‘She must be freaking out, you not coming home all night.”
room with her Melvin knew exactly that she was jealous, “She’s here to shoot a commercial
You came with her?”
“I’m here for work.”
Jocelyn huffed, “What a coincidence, huh?”
“You here for a fling?”
Both were retorting to each other with jealousy.
Jocelyn mockingly sald, “Yeah, after getting dumped, gotta see if I can fish a new blonde. After all, I can’t put all my eggs in one basket. Ouch… Melvin, are you a biting dog? That hurts!”
Jocelyn was in so much pain that dissolved into tears as she smacked Melvin on the back.
Melvin looked up at her moist eyes without a shred of sympathy, even feeling the urge to ravage her again.
Her tears made him even more excited.
“It was you who wanted to dump me, not the other way around.” Melvin sat up against the headboard, taking the issue very seriously
Jocelyn pulled the blanket up to her chest, determined not to let him bite again. She glared at him and asked, “You’re already with Willow, who knows what went on? Trust me, I won’t cling to you.”
Melvin reached for a cigarette, ready for a showdown.
Lighting it up, Melvin took a drag and looked sideways at her, “Jocelyn, I don’t play the field.”
“Can you control yourself? Jocelyn was secretly pleased, but her words were tough.
Melvin glanced at her and asked in his hoarse voice, “Can’t you tell I haven’t had sex for a long time?”
Jocelyn blushed, “Any man who hasn’t done it in a few days is like that.”
Melvin blew smoke rings, “Do I need to prove it more?”
He raised an eyebrow, “Have another bang?”
Jocelyn bit her lip, clutching the blanket tightly, warning him, “Don’t you feel tired?”
Seeing her nervous, Melvin suddenly laughed. He relaxed and smoked, with his lips moist and sexy, “Jocelyn, don’t start ditching me after you’ve had your fun.”
Jocelyn didn’t find it funny at all.
She was getting hungry and didn’t feel like lying in bed with him anymore.
Throwing off the blanket, Jocelyn grabbed her clothes and covered her chest before heading for the bathroom. The moment she closed the door behind her, a scream was heard.
Melvin, startled, dropped his cigarette and rushed naked to the bathroom door. Pushing it open to see her standing there fine, he asked, “What’s wrong?”
Staring at her reflection in the mirror, Jocelyn found her lips hurt and her body covered in red and purple kiss marks, especially her shoulders and neck in deep colors like ripe grapes scattered across her skin.
Ever, she found some teeth marks!
“You…” Jocelyn was on the verge of tears.
Melvin thought something serious had happened. He stood behind her, his hand gently tracing the marks on her body. “Stay in your room for the next few days, don’t go anywhere.”
“You. Jocelyn wanted to curse.
She came to have fun. Grounding her was worse than staying home.
Melvin said, “We’ll find another time for a proper vacation, and I’ll come with you.”
Jocelyn was fuming and didn’t believe his sweet nothings, turning to bite him hard on Adam’s apple
it was a real bite painful enough to elicit a painful groan from Melvin
After a good second, Jocelyn let go, feeling a sense of release for her pent-up anger.
Seeing the red mark on his throat, which wouldn’t fade for a week, she felt instantly better.
She didn’t care about staying home for a few more days, but he was different. Melvin had a business meeting soon. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
At the thought of that, she felt much better.
“Women are poisonous, Melvin observed the mark on his throat, just slightly furrowing his brow without further complaint.
Jocelyn pointed at the marks on her body. “Compared to your masterpiece, these are nothing, right?”
“This is proof of my love Melvin suddenly turned sentimental.
When Jocelyn heard those sensational words, her heart skipped a beat. He said he loved her.
After all these years, it was the first time she heard “love” from Melvin.
There she stood, locking eyes with him. She was too surprised to even blink and felt half- convinced to his confession.
Melvin, noticing her fixed gaze, wrapped his arms around her waist. His affectionate eyes flickered a hint of flirtation, “What’s up? My love is not enough for you?
That’s when it hit Jocelyn.
The love he spoke of was just physical
He loved her, sure, but it was her body he was into.
It was never about emotional love, just physical lust.
With that realization, a wave of disappointment crashed over her
Suddenly sobered up, she gently pushed him away, “I need a shower.”
“Together Melvin said as he pulled her into the shower, turning on the water without allowing her refusal.
Jocelyn didn’t resist, letting him have his way.
After the shower, Melvin noticed a problem: his clothes were still in his room.
Last night’s outfit was a no-go. He rang up the hotel concierge to fetch his suitcase from his room.
Before long, there was a knock on the door.
Jocelyn answered and her brow twitched at the sight of the woman standing behind the staff.
