Chapter 46 Want To Be The Best Friend Of The Best Actress
Vivian walked up to Lyndsey and greeted her in a very warm and friendly manner.
"Hi, Lyndsey! it's really nice to see you here."
While she was talking, Vivian caught a glimpse of the three young men standing close to Lyndsey one after the other.
Their names were Walt Cotton, Stephen Morgan, and Allen Pattison.
They were respectively the heir of the Cotton family and the Morgan family of Sheffield, as well as the Pattison family of Broome.
Despite Allen's family’s influence in the capital city, he preferred to live in Sheffield for reasons best known to him.
"I don't think we've met before, have we?" Lyndsey asked.
She didn't have the faintest clue about who Vivian was.
But having come across a lot of people in the course of her career as a popular actress, it didn't take long for her to see through the strange woman in front of her.
Lyndsey concluded that Vivian was just making an excuse to talk to her for the sake of the three rich men present.
It wasn't in Lyndsey's nature to put up with such a pretentious and pushy person.
But just when she was about to teach Vivian an unforgettable lesson, she was asked a question which made her stop and think.
"Don't you remember me? I am also an actress with Yeez Entertainment."
The expression on Vivian's face changed. She pouted her lips pitifully. It looked as if she felt bad for not being recognized.
"Lam Vivian Jenkins."
Immediately Lyndsey heard those words, she paused briefly.
"Did you just say Jenkins?" She decided to cut Vivian some slack.
Apparently, it was because of her surname.
Since the last time Lyndsey manage to meet Mia in person, she had wanted to know more about her.
As a result, she had been constantly pestering Jeremy in order to get some information from him.
After being persistent for a while, her effort finally paid off.
Jeremy told her all the details she needed, including Mia's address in Sheffield. But that was after Maria's approval.
"Of course it's you, Vivian!" Lyndsey grinned from ear to ear.
From the look of things, she was talking to Mia's less famous sister.
And that pleased her a great deal.
In fact, she felt an urge to give Vivian a huge hug right away.
Lyndsey thought that getting along with Vivian would probably make it much easier for her to meet with Mia in the future.
Who would have believed that Lyndsey Mosby, the pride of Yeez Entertainment, was actually a crazy fan of the adopted daughter of the Jenkins family? This came as a complete shock to Vivian.
Initially, it took a lot of nerve for her to approach Lyndsey boldly.
She thought that things might not go smoothly and that way, she would have embarrassed herself by causing a scene. But that wasn't the case.
On the contrary, Lyndsey became so excited to see her.
It almost seemed like they had been friends with each other forever! Was it because Lyndsey liked her performance in that web series? Vivian couldn't help asking herself the question.
Well, it'd be awesome for her to become close friends with one of the best actresses in the country! While Vivian thought of this, the smile on her face became wider.
"Do you mind introducing her properly?" Allen asked out of curiosity.
"Alright,"Lyndsey replied.
"Allen, Walt and Stephen, meet Vivian."
She was very familiar with the men.So they called each other by their first names.
Nonetheless, Allen was closest to her.
"She is my colleague and also an actress with Yeez Entertainment. She is from the Jenkins family in Sheffield."
The men nodded their heads awkwardly while she spoke.
"Jenkins? Was there such a family in the local upper class?" They asked in their minds.
As a matter of fact, none of them had any idea about the name. But they still showed Lyndsey some respect by greeting Vivian in an affable manner.
"Hey, Vivian, you are a native of Sheffield, aren't you? How many people are there in your family?"
Lyndsey couldn't wait to shift the topic to her idol, Maria. So she turned to Vivian again and started with simple questions, trying to get more information about Maria from her. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
"Just my father, mother and I, that's all," Vivian replied without hesitation.
It had become something of a habit to exclude Maria whenever she talked about her family.
Why didn't she mention Maria's name? Lyndsey felt confused.
Did Vivian totally forget about her sister? Did she do it on purpose? Lyndsey was surprised.
Didn't Maria deserve to be a member of the Jenkins family because she was adopted?
