The Wolf Who hated alphas

Chapter 15 – The First Alpha

Cordelia felt stupid for never finding such a room in all her years of directing at Wolf Paws.

She knew that there were things there so well hidden that many principals and teachers would never find.

The place was exactly as Sera had described it. Ancient runes and pale blue lights. However, with the tension of the day, the young woman probably did not notice details that they would notice.

There were wolves carved all over the walls. And ancient texts with unknown words.

Also, the altar that Sera had mentioned was there. Ada’s photo was on the spot with the wolf hair and hair. But Cordelia thought it was more than an obsession and more something to evoke that power.

Sera had said that Ada had blown up her power in the past. By Cordelia’s considerations, the Abrams family disappeared at the same time. Ada’s mother and grandmother died of a mysterious illness and the father was never seen again. And it was around this time that she said goodbye to WolfPaws and married Lincoln Cohen.

It was almost a 90% chance that Ada had caused their deaths. Sera said she saw an explosion. However, the director could not affirm anything without proof.

This would explain the marriage. After all, the Cohens were the most powerful clan at the time and could protect Ada from a murder charge.

A question practically solved. However, there was another, where the mysterious man fit? Sera could not pronounce his name. Probably from the shock.

The woman pondered it for a few minutes. Until someone calls her. Sue Adams indicated a newly opened secret door.

The site was built by ancient stones and stoned. There were scriptures written all over the walls.

And something very beautiful that called attention. On the largest wall was a delicately carved drawing of two wolves next to each other, they looked at each other and seemed to have a deep connection.

Above their heads were the alpha and omega symbols and ancient runes shone around them, with the same glow as the blue lights outside.

“The primordial alpha and omega, for sure. But we have little information about them.”

The director’s gaze turned to Andromeda:

“What do you know about it, miss, Andersen? Since you’re the expert.”

Andromeda was thoughtful for a few seconds.

“Hmm… these, as I said, we realize, are the primordial omega-alpha, as are the statues of the temple. I know little about them. Neither their names were revealed. There is still much we do not know.”

She watched the image for a few minutes.

“But I see no connection to current events. What could it be?” – Andromeda whispered the last part to herself.

“If we knew a little more… There are still many unanswered questions. Are we being punished in some way?” – Sue said.

Silence hovered for a few seconds until a sound was heard and a crow entered the place.

The teachers were surprised, but Cordelia did not express the same reaction.

“Fear not. It is something of the informer.”

The past landed on the stone and handed the paper to the director. In it was written:

“Two wolves. Kallias and… Not the time.”

Upon reading the name “Kallias” Andromeda remembered who he was.

“It makes sense.” – She said. ” The son of the Goddess being the first alpha.

“The first alpha, a god? Maybe we’re being punished somehow. Like a curse” – Sue concluded.

“I don’t believe in curses. Only in science and magic. Nothing happens without a plausible reason. Besides, what would be the reason? ”

Cordelia tried to remember the story Sera had told.

“Kallias had a relationship with Ada. Would these actions be revenge? But why does Sera remain alive? A possible affection? There are still many pieces without fitting.”

“”Those stained with blood…” – The director remembered the phrase of the first case that appeared. ” Certainly there is a relationship with the main clans, but there is still a lot that they hide. And of course, they have already started to move. Everyone hides something.

“The possibility of the curse still comes to mind. The question is why? ” – Sue said, analyzing the wolves on the wall.

“The informant said two wolves…”

Everything changed when she touched the center rune of the engraving and a door opened.

Inside was Mother holding a scroll.

They analyzed the location first. Looking for some suspicious trap. However, nothing seemed to pose any danger.

Then, with fear, she took the parchment. But to everyone’s surprise, there was nothing written. Just a dry bloodstain.

As she watched the paper, trying to decipher something, the walls began to crumble.

“Come on, you’re not allowed to stay here anymore.”

—–

When all were safe outside, the entrance had closed. Cordelia thought it would never open. Maybe Sera could, but it was an undefined possibility.

“Headmistress, I brought what you asked for.” – She was taken from your thoughts by the voice of Yelena.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

“Let’s go to my office.”

After Cordelia sat down, Yelena showed old records.

“These are old family records, ma’am. They show strange happenings with patients with hidden names. I believe they belonged to the great clans.” – said quickly. ” Anyway, they were talking about explosions of power and uncontrolled werewolves controlled by a lupine force. They can’t tell if it’s their own wolf or if it belongs to something external. What stands out is that everyone went crazy or abandoned their wolf completely after that. They either died, or never transformed. ”

Cordelia wondered if this was what had happened to Ada. However, there was something even more important that Yelena would say next.

“We analyzed the blood of those affected by the latest events and there is something strange under analysis. A blood unlike any we have seen before. Something noble, almost divine, that blends perfectly with DNA.”

Kallias’ theory now made more sense. But the reason was still a mystery.

A knock on the door knocked Cordelia out of her brief thoughts. Yuji had entered with a paper written by Thomas Abiyoe.

“I’m sorry, director. I couldn’t get the book.”

“No problem” – she said with a smile. There were no more capable hands than those of Thomas Abiyoe to help them with this purpose.
