Shannon gave me a thumbs-up through the video. "Considering your demeanor, I support you." Before I could reply, Shannon asked again, "What if Theo really is... what are you going to do?"

I had never thought about this. I shook my head. "I haven't thought about it."

"You can think about it now, then. There is still a half chance, after all." Shannon took off the mask and was now cleaning up.

The sound of rushing water flowed into my ears and calmed me down a little. I propped my chin up and muttered to myself, "If he really is, then I...I...I also don't know what to do."
