Chapter 1199 You're Really
Taking the Liberty Jenny finally felt relieved when the plane touched down at Bardoff Airport.
Although Alec reassured her throughout the trip, she still felt uneasy. It wasn't until they were physically in Bardoff City that her worries eased. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Even if Eric showed up in Bardoff City, she had nothing to be scared of because he couldn't bring Lynette away.
Graham and Lynette returned to Walter Castle, and Jenny followed them home.It had been some time since she last visited.
She hadn't lived there for long, but it was home to her.
The Walter family was home.
There, the staff and bodyguards gathered.
When Graham and Lynette arrived, the staff split into two lines and respectfully greeted them, "Mr.and Mrs.Walter."
Graham was pleased with the welcome, but Lynette thought the title was unsuitable.
"Graham, tell them I'll go by Madam Bell.I haven't divorced Eric, so I can't be Mrs.Walter."
He pursed his lips, looking reluctant.
"Dad, Madam Bell is right," Jenny interjected.
She agreed that it was not the time for Lynette to go by Mrs.Walter.
Since she had shared her opinion, Graham had to agree to it and made the staff readdress Lynette.
Next, they went to the living room, but Lynette felt awkward because it was her first time visiting.
"Nettie, this will be your home now.You can change the arrangement and decor, pick your room, and plant flowers as you like," he told her.
She looked cheerful, like a young lady. She was in her forties, but she had the same youthful smile from her twenties.
Jenny left the living room for the backyard with Alec to avoid interrupting her parents.
"Sorry to trouble you," she thanked him as they walked side by side.He took her hand and pulled her closer.
"Jenny, we are one.Your troubles are mine.Your mother is my mother too.You don't have to thank me."
"Pfft, you really took the liberty of doing so."
She rolled her eyes at him.
Only Alec would claim that Lynette was his mother too.
"I always take the liberty when I'm around you.To me, you're family."
He pointed that out because he wanted Jenny to realize she hadn't seen him as one of her own.
While the two were strolling in the backyard, Lynette had chosen her room. She stood on the balcony and gazed at the couple on their walk.
"How's that guy...Alec Faust?" she asked.
Although she claimed she wasn't in a rush to get to know Jenny, the sight of her daughter walking close to another man was concerning to her.
Graham frowned at the difficult question.
"Their relationship is complicated.I'll tell you more about it, and I need your Opinion too."
"Sure." She nodded.
"What do we do now?"
"We rest, of course. You must be exhausted after a few hours on the plane."
He wanted her to stop worrying and have a good rest.
She was indeed tired, and it wasn't because of the plane ride. She had been losing sleep, especially after learning that Jenny would save her during Eric's absence, and she worried for her daughter's safety.
When the dust was settled, exhaustion crept in.
"I'll take some rest."
"Alright." He nodded and left her room.
