True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2049

Chapter 2049

"I absolutely didn't mean to be a mistress. I really thought he was single, and he deliberately hid the truth from me." Florina smiled bitterly and said, "Frankly speaking, such a man is not worthy of love."

"But you know that sometimes I can't control myself. I already fell for him, and cutting it off is like cutting my own arm off."

Florina's eyes shone with tears as she spoke.

Celeste felt rather distressed at the sight of this.

Unrequited love was truly the hardest.

Alas, the person she loved was doing something immoral, so she had to end it.

"You said he hid the fact that he was married from you?" Celeste asked.

Florina nodded.

"This is an immoral man then. His actions were deliberate."

Florina nodded. "Yeah, I know that he did it on purpose. I just didn't see it at the time. By the time I found out, I was already in too deep."

"Not to worry, there's still time to recover. I know it hurts, but you can't keep going on like this."

"Yeah, we've totally broken up." Florina smiled wryly. "It was just too much for me, and I needed to tell someone."

Celeste understood what she meant. People needed to vent at times.

If Florina was ready to talk to someone about this, then it meant that she was trying to be positive.

It was better to talk about it than to keep everything buried inside. Over time, it would add up to be a terrible burden.

It would eventually take a toll on Florina.

"Well, you can dump your feelings on me. It's best to talk about it." Celeste comforted her gently.

Florina smiled as she sipped on her milk tea. "You're really nice, Celeste. I didn't think you'd be the right person to talk to, since this is really embarrassing."

"It's not like you did it on purpose. Don't be so hard on yourself," Celeste replied.

"I guess you don't really get it. I left that man in a very pathetic state." Florina smiled wryly.

Celeste was dumbfounded. Perhaps Florina's relationship had ended very badly.

Being a married man's mistress was never set up to have a good ending.

"His wife found me and hit me in public before she nearly stripped me naked. That's how I knew he was married." Florina chuckled mirthlessly. "It's ironic, really. The relationship I was so proud of turned out to be a farce, and I was the bad guy."

Celeste didn't expect things to turn out this way. It was quite unsightly indeed.

She could imagine what kind of unbearable pain Florina had experienced.

No wonder she was suffering.

Loneliness was clear in Florina's eyes, but she still put on a brave face in front of Celeste.

Everyone had their own sad stories, it seemed.

Celeste felt sorry for Florina, but she couldn't empathise with her.

In the end, Florina had made a mistake.

Falling in love with someone who couldn't be theirs was a mistake in itself.

Everyone had to pay for their mistakes; there were no exceptions.

"Are you alright?" Celeste asked after a long pause.

"The worst is over." Florina smiled. "I was the laughing stock of my entire office. I only interned for three months, and I didn't expect something like this to happen.

It's really quite hilarious. I was almost accepted into the company, but now, I've got to start over.

I need to find another company, but it's hard to find one in Northern City who will accept me after all that's happened.

His wife threatened to kill me. She wants me to be out of work and homeless. She wants everyone to know that I am the vixen who seduced my boss."

Celeste was shocked. She didn't expect things to be this serious.

"What are you going to do then?"

"I allowed her to beat and scold mẹ before finally apologizing," Florina said, "After the initial shock wore off, I realized that I brought her adot of pain. I guess I owe her an apology."

Celeste's heart ached even more when she heard that.

Florina did well.

The other party should give it a rest too.

After all, the one at fault was the man.

If he didn't hide the fact he was married, things wouldn't have ended up this way.

To put it bluntly, he had deceived both women's feelings.

He had hurt both of them very badly.

These kinds of men were the worst, yet women had always been the one to pay the price. The men didn't have to sacrifice a thing, but women were left with a lifetime of hurt to deal with.

How unfair was the world.

"Florina, that's great. Just forget about him," Celeste advised.

"Yeah." Florina nodded. "I think I did well too. At least I can admit my mistakes, and from there I will learn. I won't contact this man again."

"You can find another job. There's always a place for you somewhere." Celeste encouraged Florina.

"Yeah." Florina smiled. "Do you think I'm a good person?"

Celeste replied, "Of course. You're a good person, and someone is bound to see that."

Florina smiled and said, "I hope so."

"Where are you going to work next?" Celeste felt that the first thing she needed to do was to find a job. Proper work kept people steady and focused.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

"I don't know yet, I'm just sending in resumes. Don't worry, I'm pretty capable," Florina replied.

"That's good." Celeste nodded.

They chatted in the dessert shop for a long time, and they managed to delve deeper into various topics.

Nevertheless, Celeste did not tell Florina about her situation with Gary. After all, this needed to be kept under wraps in case she hurt Grace.

On the other side of town, Gary met Heinz at the National Registration Department. The name change was done with ease as Heinz's assistant had finished most of the procedures earlier on. Thus, Gary's signature was all that was needed.

Gary's new ID came out soon after that.
