True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2103

Chapter 2103

Sebastian also saw the person too. It was a woman.

Seated in the back seat, Gary opened his eyes and looked at the figure through the window. After a glance, he said, "Kendrix must have kicked her out because she betrayed him."

"He's ruthless," Ernest said with a sigh. "How could he kick a lady out with her luggage in the middle of the night?"

Unexpectedly, Sebastian said, "Well, she might look like a lady, but she sure doesn't act like one. Any man who gets involved with her is unlucky. She's not the type to let men bully her."

Ernest nodded. "I agree. She merely looks like a lady."

At that moment, Claudia suddenly turned around. Under the bright headlights, she had to squint her eyes to see what was in front of her. She seemed to spot something and came running their way with her luggage.

Ernest muttered, "Oh no! Could she have seen us?"

"I think so. Ernest, drive, now!" Sebastian urged.

Ernest nodded. "Okay. We don't want any more trouble."

However, Claudia had arrived in front of their car, blocking their way.

Joy shone in her eyes as she shouted something they could not hear with a smile.

In the car, Sebastian said, "Ernest, reverse the car."

Since they could not drive forward, they had to change their direction.

No matter what, they did not want anything to do with Claudia.

But at that moment, Gary said, "Ask her to get in."

"What?!"

"Huh?"

Both Ernest and Sebastian turned to look at Gary in shock.

Gary repeated solemnly, "I said, ask her to get in. I want her as a gift for Sylvia."

Ernest frowned and said, "Isn't this too risky? You don't know what she'll do. She doesn't play by the rules at all. Even I don't think it's a good idea to take her with us."

"She is kind of a lunatic," Sebastian said.

Gary insisted. "Sylvia needs her help."

Ernest and Sebastian were both speechless.

They looked at each other, and neither of them spoke.

They knew Gary wanted to bring Claudia with them was because he wanted their sister to be happy. After all, he lost Celeste, and all he wished now was for Sylvia to be happy.

They understood his feelings. Despite their being against this idea, they still complied with it.

Seeing that none of them got out of the car, Claudia used her luggage to block their way while she went to open the door.

As soon as she opened the door, she greeted them as if they were old friends. "Hi, guys."

Gary glanced at her and said nothing.

Ernest and Sebastian were silent too.

The three of them ignored her. Any other girl would have been embarrassed by the awkwardness, but not Claudia.

She got in and said, "I have to meet your sister. I owe her an apology. Kid, can you help me to put my luggage into the trunk?"

Ernest looked at Sebastian, who frowned.

There was no doubt she was referring to Sebastian.

Sebastian was evidently displeased at being addressed like that.

Therefore, he did not move.

Claudia protested, "Kid, you in the passenger seat. What's with the attitude? Anyhow, I helped you guys by betraying my cousin. How could you treat me like this? It breaks my heart to know how cold this world is. Shouldn't you repay kindness with kindness?"

"You betrayed your cousin, and yet you're lecturing me about kindness?" Sebastian retorted mercilessly. Claudia blinked, stunned by his words. Then, she turned to look at Gary, "He does make sense, doesn't he?" Gary nodded and looked at her. He had to admit that she had not seemed hypocritical since they met. "So?" he asked in reply.

"Well, I have nothing to say about

betray Kendrix, but it's just that have this utmost respect for dove," Claudia said.

Gary rolled his eyes.

She smiled, asking, "Could you please ask him to help me put my luggage into the car?"

Gary then looked at Sebastian. "Sebastian, help her with her luggage."

Sebastian got out wordlessly and put her suitcase in the trunk.

Claudia chuckled and praised Gary. "You're so well-respected as the eldest brother. He listens to whatever you say."

Gary leaned back in his seat without replying.

Claudia, now in the back seat with Gary, joked, "I can stay the night at your house, can't I?"

"No problem," Gary replied.

"Awesome," said Claudia.

At that moment, Sebastian got into the car.

Only then did Ernest start driving.

"Since you're so generous, I have a gift for you," said Claudia.

"We're not interested," Gary replied.

"Well, it might mean nothing to you, but Sylvia would love it. Did you know that when I told Kendrix I was going to see your sister, he didn't stop me? Do you think he wants me to go, or he is making me go?"

When the three brothers heard that, none of them spoke, but they all raised their eyebrows.

That was good news for Sylvia indeed.

Claudia smiled and said, "Didn't I say it was good news?"

The corners of Gary's lips curved upward. "Indeed,

but can you shut up now?"

He did not feel like having a woman talking incessantly next to him. It was giving him a headache.

He still preferred quiet girls.

He was then reminded of Celeste.

Thinking of her made his heart ache even more.

He turned to look out the window at the flashing neon lights, his mind wandering.

What was Celeste doing now? Gary wondered.

Where was she now?

Would she keep herself warm on such a cold wintry day?

"Hey," Claudia moved closer to Gary and whispered. "Are you thinking of your girlfriend?"

He turned and met her gaze. She was staring at him, merely inches away from him.

He frowned and demanded, "Get away from me."

Claudia scooted away from him before looking at him with a smile. "I saw your press conference."

Gary did not say anything.

Both Sebastian and Ernest were silent.

"Even I was moved to tears when you expressed your love to Celeste at the press conference." Claudia shook her head, saying, "So many women wish for a man to confess their love publicly."
