True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2122

Chapter 2122

Sylvia was astounded as she didn't expect Kendrix to agree to have lunch together in the end.

It felt so surreal. Perhaps she didn't know Kendrix as well as she thought.

Human behavior was built on patterns. Sylvia thought she knew Kendrix very well as she made assumptions based on that, but she was wrong. In short, Kendrix surprised Sylvia that day.

Kendrix had agreed to have lunch together, but it was still a few hours till noon then.

"Mr. Trevino, do you have anything else to do right now?" Lowell felt that they should all have some fun together since he was Sylvia's teacher. However, Kendrix didn't say anything in reply.

Lowell continued, "Why don't we group up and do something fun?"

"Yeah, let's go, Mr. Trevino." Sylvia echoed.

Claudia chuckled and said, "Come on, Kendrix. Being alone is boring, and you'll have fun with us for sure. Time will pass quickly, no? Let's do it."

Kendrix gave Claudia a cold look, and he didn't

reply to her.

"Since you're not saying anything, I'll take it as a yes." Claudia grinned. She obviously had ways to subvert Kendrix's silent treatment. Kendrix frowned, but he agreed anyway in the end.

"Let's go then."

"Did you just agree to our plan, Mr. Trevino?" Sylvia could hardly believe her own ears. It felt like a dream, and it was just too surreal. They decided to take a stroll around the pine forest at first. However, Claudia decided that she should create an opportunity for Sylvia and Kendrix to be alone after she looked at them again.

Hence, she glanced at the innocent Lowell and smiled. "Mr. Jones, could you help me with taking some photos?"

Lowell paused for a moment and found it a little strange. Wouldn't it better for Claudia to ask Sylvia for her help regarding that?

However, it seemed like Claudia specifically asked for him, so he was too shy to refuse. He smiled and nodded his assent.

Kendrix and Sylvia walked further away from them as Lowell took Claudia's photos.

Lowell was surprised to note that they were so far away from Sylvia and Kendrix when he looked around. They were nowhere to be seen.

Lowell turned back to look at Claudia, only to find that she had a super confident look on her face. There was a hint of mischief in her eyes and smile, and it looked like she understood his thoughts.

Lowell then could only ask, "Sylvia and Mr. Trevino are still behind us, right? Let's not lose them. Should we go back to look for them?"

"Mr. Jones, do you really not know why I asked you to help me take some photos?"

Claudia was rather surprised at Lowell not knowing the truth. Perhaps Sylvia had hidden her feelings very well.

"I really have no idea what's going on. Is there something that I don't know about?"

"Of course there is. Haven't you noticed something up with Sylvia?" Claudia giggled at Lowell.

Lowell tried his best to figure out what Claudia meant, and his befuddled expression made Claudia smile. She gave him a hint, "How about you think about why I led you away from them, Mr. Jones?"

Lowell was taken aback. It was clear that Claudia had lured him away on purpose.

"I know you did that on purpose, but I'm not too sure why. How about you just tell me right away?"

"Please think about it carefully." Claudia continued smiling.

Lowell was a smart man, and he caught on very quickly. Then, he looked around once more.

Sylvia and Kendrix were gone. If Claudia lured him away for Kendrix and Sylvia, then that would mean...

Lowell was taken aback deep down as he thought about it.

"Miss Loris, do you mean that Mr. Trevino and Sylvia..."

Claudia interrupted him before he could finish his sentence.

"It's nice to know about some things, Mr. Jones, but there's no need to say them out loud. It would only ruin it, don't you agree?"

Lowell was still shocked.

So, it seemed like his guess was right.

He looked back suspiciously again, but he still didn't see Kendrix and Sylvia.

The two of them did not follow Lowell and Claudia. Then, Lowell frowned. Kendrix was a teacher.

How could that be possible?

Lowell's expression tipped Claudia

off to what he was thinking. She smiled and said, "Actually, my cousin isn't really a teacher. He's an undercover cop, and he will be leaving soon. You know that don't you? If you're worried about the age factor, I don't think it'll be an issue." Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

"Who started it first?" Lowell asked in a deep voice.

Claudia shrugged and said, "Perhaps it was Sylvia. So far, my cousin hasn't responded in the slightest."

Lowell was rendered absolutely speechless.

He frowned and wanted to head back, but Claudia stopped him. "Don't bother them. They'll come to us eventually, and you have to trust that Kendrix knows what he's doing."

Lowell paused and slowed his footsteps.

"If you show up out of nowhere, Sylvia will be sad. Give them some space." Claudia smiled at Lowell.

Lowell had no comeback to what Claudia said, and it annoyed him.

He didn't expect that Sylvia would think of Kendrix that way, but then again, wasn't it normal? Even though she was just 16 years old, it was also the age when girls would start thinking about love and relationship.

However, did Heinz and Grace know about that?

"Don't look so worried." Claudia comforted Lowell as she smiled. "I know you're worried about her, but、 it's actually no use. Instead of worrying, why not wish her luck?· Sylvia is a smart girl, and she knows

what she wants. This isn't

something you can stop her from

doing."

Lowell knew very well that no one could stop Sylvia if she wanted something. She wouldn't have stopped until she got it.

Alas, Lowell was a little concerned that Sylvia was into her teacher at such a tender age.

"Then, why did you come to my house?" Lowell looked at Claudia and felt that there was something off about her behavior. "Don't tell me you're here as an undercover just to help your cousin out?"

Claudia chuckled. "If you say so."

"That's definitely not the reason why you're here. You must have other intentions," Lowell said confidently.

Claudia shrugged and stroked her long hair. She smiled and said, "My cousin hasn't responded to Sylvia's advances, so I wanted to help them. That's all. It's up to you if you'd believe me."

"Indeed, I don't believe that in the slightest," Lowell said in a low voice.

"Don't be so serious." Claudia smiled at Lowell to counteract his serious expression. Then, she smiled brightly and said, "What other indecent motives could I have? Plus, I'm a cop too."
