"I will." She closed the door and approached the entrance.

It was her first visit, but the staff seemned to know her. Not only did the guards not stop her, but even the receptionist in the hall personally welcomed her. "Ms. Youngworth, you're here. Please come this way."

She wasn't surprised at all, figuring that Bernard had made such arrangements.

She followed the receptionist to the interrogation room. She happened to see Rhett coming from the other side of the corridor while escorted by two officers.

He was still wearing that suit he wore to Linda's birthday party. His hands were cuffed, and his hair had grown a lot. He looked more disheveled because of the stubble on his face.

She didn't know where he had been ever since the Imperial Hotel was bombed. It turned out that he had been here the entire time.

The glint in Rhett's eyes turned menacing when he noticed Hera. He knew how Linda died. The officers were generous enough to show him the shootage of Linda being crushed by the rocks. When he was watching the footage, he hoped he could skin Hera alive and chop her into pieces.

The heavens seemed to have answered his prayers because someone powerful from Astral Nova wanted to bail him out!

When the two brushed past each other, Rhett gritted his teeth. "Hera Youngworth, once I finish the procedures and get out of here, you're dead meat!"

She stopped in her tracks.

Taking that as a sign of fear, he smiled smugly.

The receptionist shook her head. "I didn't receive any notice."

"Of course, you wouldn't know about it. People from Astral Nova will be here at any moment. You'll find out soon."

As soon as Rhett said that, he saw an officer escorting Samson over. Behind him were two bodyguards in Astral Nova uniforms.

The smile on Rhett's face widened. "Speak of the devil. Mr. Shaft, you're finally here!"

Hera looked back. It was really Samson! When she was going to greet him, he

expressionlessly took out and handed an Astral Nova card to one of the officers escorting Rhett. The word "guarantee" was written in gold letters in the middle of the card.

"Astral Nova's guarantee card. Bring him over to process his release," said Samson.

The officer took the card politely. "Yes, sir."

Hera frowned.

Guarantee card? Process his release?
