Tiffany knew that Western restaurant. The food there was quite expensive. She recalled that Teresa would usually be careful with spending, even on a simple barbecue méal.
So, she suggested, "I know a small restaurant nearby. The food there isn't bad, and it's affordable. Why don't we meet there instead?"
Teresa hesitated for a moment before she said, "Eric will be treating us to dinner tonight. He just got a bonus, so there's no need to think about money. It's settled. We'll head over there later. Take your time and be careful on your way there." "Alright." Although Tiffany was doubtful, she agreed.
She wouldn't claim that she knew Eric very well, but she knew what kind of person he was. He was probably coming up with some sort of scheme if he was willing to spend so much money to treat them to dinner.
Tiffany called a cab and headed over. When she got there, Teresa and Eric hadn't reached yet, so she told the waiter that she was waiting for someone.
The waiter then led her to the table that had been reserved in advance. He poured her some juice and asked her to wait there.
Outside the glass windows, dusk fell. Tiffany watched the bustling street and spaced out.
Her gaze followed a black car as it stopped in front of the restaurant. The car door was pulled open, and a man and a woman got out of the vehicle. The woman was in a red gown and had intricate makeup. With a huge smile, she held the man's arm as; both of them entered the restaurant together. The waiter led the two of them over to where Tiffany was.All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
Tiffany wanted to hide, but it was too late.
The other two saw her at almost the same time.
"Tiffany?" Kelly had a look of surprise. Glancing at Vincent, she complained jokingly, "You invited Tiffany as well? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Tiffany stood up. She awkwardly greeted, "Mr. Lewis." She then explained to Kelly, "Mr. Lewis did not invite me. It's a misunderstanding." Looking at the table number, Kelly's smile grew even brighter. "It was my mistake. Tiffany, did you invite someone else here for dinner?" "Yeah,"
"Is it your boyfriend?"
Tiffany was stunned. Even Vincent frowned a little. Somehow, he felt like Kelly had asked that on purpose. Tiffany shook her head. "I'll be having dinner with my sister and her husband." "Oh." A hint of disappointment flashed across Kelly's eyes.
But she quickly regained her composure, smiled, and said, "The ambiance here is amazing. Remember to bring your boyfriend here for dinner next time. It would mak As Kelly spoke, she held Vincent's arm and st your relationship better!"

Suddenly, Vincent turned and glanced at Kelly. "What perfume did you put on tonight?"
"It has the scent of orange blossom. I just bought it. Does it smell nice?" Kelly had done her research on him extensively just to please him. She had chosen an orange blossom perfume on purpose. But Vincent did not seem too happy. He said flatly, "Don't use it anymore."
Since they were still in front of Tiffany, Kelly felt embarrassed. She could only force a smile and reply," Okay."
Vincent and Kelly walked further inside. They sat down at their reserved table.
Soon, Charles and Mandy arrived.
"Hi, Vincent." Mandy pulled out the chair beside Vincent and sat down. Ignoring Kelly's presence, she stared right at Vincent. "It's been a while since we last met. You're even more handsome than before." Vincent remained expressionless. "Let me introduce you to my girlfriend, Kelly."
Kelly immediately got up. She passed Mandy a glass of fruit juice and greeted her. "Nice to meet you, Ms. Stewart."
"Her?" Mandy gawked at Kelly. "Isn't she one of your assistants from before? When I went to Lewis Group last time, she was the one who led me around. How did she suddenly become your girlfriend? "Vincent, even if you're just trying to push me away, you should find a better-looking actress for this."
The corner of Kelly's mouth twitched. Was Mandry implying that she was ugly? 2
