Chapter 26 The Orientation Day
Chapter 26 The Orientation Day
Magnus finished the conference call and came back. He saw Coco sitting on the bed and bemoaning.
He wondered why the young girl always looked so sad.
He walked over to his little princess. Then he threw her onto the bed. Eyes wandering over her body,
he asked, "What's wrong? What makes you so unhappy?"
"Nothing."
Magnus stood up and looked around the house. "The room is a bit small, especially the windows. I'll
have someone look for another one for you, and it depends on your choice. If they failed to find one
you like, you can go out and find one for yourself. I'll send someone to take care of the paper works for
you. Is that alright?"
Magnus was lying on the bed with Coco in his arms, making the arrangements for her.
"We're leaving for the capital, L City, of Country E this afternoon and we'll be there for three days. I've
already checked your school schedule. You'll be available during the three days."
"Okay" Coco lay docilely in Magnus's arms. She had always wanted to travel abroad with her parents
before. Now that she had actually been abroad, she somehow felt nervous.
Luckily, Coco's school was just two hours' driving from L City. Therefore, she could take Magnus's ride.
While he was driving, he suddenly realized something and asked. "Do you want me to buy you a car?
Choose one you like and tell Jensen"
Coco wasn't used to driving on the right side of the car, and besides, she wasn't a good driver even
when she was in motherland. Driving on the right made it so much harder for her.
"No. I wouldn't dare to drive."
Magnus smiled. His left hand reached out to grab the girl's right small and tender hand. What a shame
that he wouldn't be able to see her for at least four months.
The weather in the Country E at the end of September was really nice and pleasant.
When they arrived in L City, Magnus took the girl to one of his properties and gave her the keys, telling
her that she could be here whenever she wanted.
This loft, situated in the Greater L City Area, was only a few hundred meters away from the business
center here. Coco could only imagine how pricy it would be, not to mention that it covered more than
2,000 sqft. He knew Magnus was rich, but she didn't expect that he was so much richer than her.
The decoration here is much better than the one she rented near her school. The window there
revealed a corner of the full picture of the sceneries outside, and the floor-to-ceiling window here was
like a big screen displaying the tremendous light show in this town at every moment.
The area adjacent to business center in L City was brightly lit and very bustling at night. It was still
packed with people every night after 10 o'clock, which was very rare in the Country E .
On the second day, Magnus went out to deal with business affairs while Coco went shopping by
herself. There were many luxury products in the mall. Some of them Coco could afford, while others This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
she couldn't. Other than the products, there were so many people in this place. Women in black robes
were everywhere. They had all kinds of bags on their shoulders, big and small. Some of them had
Shayla, and others Hijab. Almost all of them wore Abaya. As attractive as the luxury products might be
to Coco, she was more attracted by those exotic beauties because she had never seen one of those in
motherland before. She was curious about those people who she had only seen in books or on TV.
Their looks and dresses all looked so refreshing to her.
She didn't know that in the following days, she would not only be used to their dresses, but also...
Three days passed quickly. Magnus returned to motherland and Coco was back to school. She woke
up early in the morning and found people are lining up at the student center.
She woke up early, but not that early because it was a leisure country. Coco was here at 10 o'clock in
the morning and most of the shops in town were still closed. She thought she arrived here too early,
only to see there already had been a long line before the Student Center. The line had already bent
three times. She didn't know how long it would take, but it wouldn't take longer than 2 hours.
Coco held the documents and looked at her phone. A while later, somebody patted at her back.
