Chapter 207 Cleanse Your Stupidity
Cordelia raised an eyebrow. "What do you want?"
Daisy looked at her patronizingly. "Cordelia, you're just a bumpkin. How did you ever have the courage
to marry Elijah? I've always wanted to know where you got your confidence from."
Cordelia smirked. "Maybe I'm a bit prettier, a bit taller, and have a better figure than you."
"You!" Daisy glared at her. "You have no shame!"
Cordelia retorted, "You're the one blocking me in the restroom. Do you like the ambiance in here?"
"I just want to warn you," Daisy said imperiously, "Now that you're divorced, stay away from Elijah.
Don't pester him anymore."
Cordelia pretended to be curious. "Oh? And who gave you the right to warn me?"
"I'm his fiancée!" Daisy declared proudly.
Cordelia was taken aback, and her expression became gloomy.
For a while, the bathroom was so quiet that they could only hear the water dripping.
Seeing Cordelia's silence, Daisy became even more arrogant. "The marriage between the Kingsley
family and the Hansen family is a win-win. The benefit that I can give to Elijah is much more than
anything you can ever give him. You'd better know what to do." From NôvelDrama.Org.
Cordelia suddenly looked up and stared at Daisy solemnly.
Her piercing gaze even made Daisy uneasy.
"Did you... did you hear me?" Daisy stammered.
Cordelia spoke calmly, "Then you'd better restrain your fiancé. If you can't, just keep your mouth shut.
Who else can you threaten if you can't even control Elijah? Who do you think you are?"
Her face remained expressionless, but her heart had grown colder.
Although she knew that Elijah had not consented to the marriage with the Kingsley family, was it
something he could reject so easily?
Daisy was determined to marry into the Hansen family, just as she had once been determined to do.
But at this moment, Cordelia didn't want to escalate the conflict with Daisy.
However, it didn't mean she was afraid of Daisy, though.
"So, you'll just keep pestering Elijah shamelessly, is that it?" Daisy looked down on Cordelia
disdainfully.
The next second, she raised her hand to slap Cordelia's face.
Cordelia's gaze instantly sharpened.
But instead of the crisp sound of a slap, there was a dull thud as Daisy's arm met Cordelia's hand.
Cordelia easily grabbed Daisy's arm, but she didn't slap her back. Instead, she grabbed Daisy by her
hair and pulled her toward the sink.
"What are you doing? What are you going to do to me?" Daisy cried out.
Cordelia, holding Daisy's hair, pressed her over the sink. "Let's cleanse the stupidity in your brain and
help you better understand what I just told you."
Daisy screamed, "No, it's so cold! Please, let me go!"
As Daisy watched the water accumulating in the sink, getting closer and closer to her nose, she was
horrified and almost lost her mind...
