Chapter 306
Chapter 306
Patricia looked at Percy coldly, but he shrugged it off and poured himself a glass of wine. She could see he just came back from the troops. His skin was tanner than before, and there were wounds on his face. "You don't have to do this, Darcie. Don't let him do what he wants."
Darcie looked at Percy before dragging her friend out of the room in a haste. "Stop it, Tricia. I sought him out myself. He's my only hope. If he wants to sleep with me, he can. I'll do it. Once he has enough, he'll help Poppy out."
There was a hint of disappointment in Darcie's eyes. She could do nothing about it. Poppy's life was what mattered most, not her feelings. She didn't like Percy. He could be evil, especially during intimate moments. He even taught her a lot of embarrassing stuff. She couldn't tell anyone about it, so she could only suffer in silence all by herself.
Patricia held her friend. "I know how you feel, but will he help? He ran out on you once."
Darcie let out a long sigh. "I won't let him run away this time. I can deal with this myself, so don't worry about me, alright?"
Her friend looked helpless, and Patricia wanted to help. She really wished her marrow would match Poppy's, but alas, things were not to be. That was the only reason Percy could do as he pleased. She gritted her teeth as she said, "You gotta learn how to protect yourself. Come to me if you need anything. I have some savings now. Just call me if you need money."
Darcie nodded. "You're on a date with Isaac, aren't you? You should go back to him." God, if Percy gets annoyed and runs out on me again, I will have no idea where to find him. I have to go back in and please him. Poppy needs him.
Patricia watched as her friend hurried back into the room, and she kicked the wall out of fury.
The sheer agony made her bend over, and Isaac went over to hold her up. Her face was scrunched up from the pain. "You dummy," he muttered and picked her up before returning to their room.
She leaned on his chest. I'm lucky he's the one I met. They're both rich guys, so why is Percy so different from him? She suddenly said, "Can you talk to Percy? Poppy's a cute girl. If she dies, Darcie's going to break." Children were a mother's whole world. If Poppy were to die, Darcie would lose all hope of living.
Isaac knew she wanted to help her friend, but all he did was nod. He had heard of the thing between Percy and Darcie. This is their problem. They need to settle it themselves. He placed Patricia back into her seat and was about to take her shoe off to see if she was hurt, but she held his hand.
"It's alright. It doesn't hurt anymore." He's so caring.
He sat down beside her and filled her plate with food. "Dig in. We have something else to do later." This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Her face quickly turned red. She thought he was suggesting a certain workout in the bedroom.
Isaac caught a glimpse of the change in her look. He took a bite of his food before explaining, "Not what you're thinking. It's something else.'
Patricia froze and shot him a dirty look. "You meanie. I wasn't thinking about anything."
He huddled closer. "Then, why are you blushing? Don't you wanna do it with me? I want to go at it with you."
Her face turned a deeper shade of red upon hearing his words. She shoved him back. "Can you stop that?"
