You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife

Chapter 246 : Just Like That

Chapter 246 : Just Like That

‘Arabella Jones.’

Bill Sky wickedly muttered in the air.

His jaw was clenched as his eyes had darkened.

Bill Sky was staring at the disgustful woman on the screen.

His eyes were the coldest but his handsome demeanor never lessened even a bit.

He smirked while his orbs turned shallow.

The woman had already a new husband.

Just like that.

She completely forgot him and Adam.

Just like that.

After her divorce from him, she is marrying Eric Grant.

Another top-notch billionaire.

She seemed to have good eyesight.

This just proved that she was really a crook.

She needed a man for power and money.

The same as the other women who could not live without a man and who could give them all the

expensive things in the world.

Meanwhile, Arabella was staring at her reflection in the mirror.

The white plain off-shoulder dress perfectly embraced her curves.

Part of her request for the wedding was not to splurge any amount of money as the ceremony was just

for show.

Nothing was real.

Today, she was marrying her brother.

Eric Grant.

Her savior.

The marriage was with a good purpose.

Helping Eric was not so much of a bother for her.

In reality, she was happy and satisfied with the situation.

She believed Ivan would be in good hands and would get proper treatment and attention from his uncle

Eric.

After Eric would get full custody of Ivan, they would immediately file a divorce. From NôvelDrama.Org.

She hoped everything would turn out all good.

For Eric, Ivan, her, and Adam.

“Ready?” Eric’s voice snapped her senses back.

“Let’s get it all done, brother,” Arabella replied excitedly linking her arms to him.

Her voice was cheerful and sweet.

Hearing her, Eric smiled with overwhelmed greatness.

At a small venue, they agreed to hold the ceremony.

Standing at the center of the entrance, Arabella maintained her sweet smile while waiting for the

master ceremony to start.

After a couple of minutes, she heard the opening of the ceremony that made her stride slowly onto the

red carpet.

Eric and Adam were waiting for her in front.

She knew all eyes were on her.

Though Arabella was just wearing a simple long dress, she still looked very elegant.

She didn't wear any jewelry only her smile.

Her tall sexy figure made her look very stunning.

She was like a supermodel who was walking on a catwalk without any effort at all.

On the other hand, Eric's stare was fixated on the woman he wanted to be in his life.

He was wearing his white Americana and he looked very gorgeous.

Today, he was very pleased that finally, he would marry Arabella Jones.

Even though it was not real, Eric swore to keep their marriage forever.

He never wanted to let go of Arabella anymore.

For him, he was the only one who could take care of and protect her from Bill Sky.

After their wedding, Bill Sky would be nobody in her life.

Eric swore he would erase Bill Sky in Arabella's life forever.

When Arabella arrived in front, Ivan hugged her tight excitedly.

The kid was also very happy that finally, he would have a family.

He loved his uncle Eric so much and also his new mom.

He thanked God that his Uncle Eric's wife would be his new mom.

For him, no one was a match for his uncle aside from his mom.

Before, he just threw tantrums whenever he saw his uncle with other girls.

He didn't like them at all.

Not even one could surpass his standard for his uncle.

He hated the most the woman named Rosy.

She was his uncle's Vice President in their company.

Rosy was a smart ass but also very foxy and clingy.

He disgusted her a lot.

Ivan knew Rosy was not his uncle's girlfriend but for her, she seemed to claim that she was his uncle's

girlfriend.

He could not imagine how Rosy would react after knowing about his Uncle's marriage.

No wonder, his uncle didn't invite her to his wedding.

Thinking about his uncle's relationship with the daring Rosy made Ivan puke but seeing his new

beautiful mom eased everything.

Hopefully, Rosy would not be the villain in his uncle's marriage.

Ivan couldn't help to roll his eyes under his big rimmed eyeglasses.

Then Ivan remembered his brother Adam.

He missed him a lot but having his mother eased his longingness for him.

He just prayed that his brother was in a good hand.

He wished to see him again in the future.

Now that his uncle was going to marry his mother, they would be officially a family.

With that, Ivan couldn't help smiling cutely.

Eric held Arabella's hand.

He patted a soft kiss on the back of her palm.

Arabella felt a bit of awkwardness about Eric's action but still, she managed to compose herself

properly in front of everyone.

With hands holding each other, they strode together to the officiating priest then the ceremony started.

"Arabella Jones, do you take this man to be your wedded husband?"

The officiating priest asked.

At that very moment, Arabella froze.

Beads of cold sweat suddenly appeared on her forehead.

Her heartbeat was racing so fast.

She clenched her teeth to make herself steady but the more she tried to stand still the more she felt

trembling inside.

"This man..."

"This man..."

"Husband..."

"Husband..."

These words flashed across her mind. It kept on bugging her while she was trying her best to calm

herself.

'What's wrong with me?' Arabella was clenching her hands into fists.

She felt her face turn pale as she felt her head was so heavy.

"This man..."

"Husband..."

She could not bear the heaviness of her head as she closed her eyes.

She felt cold and dizzy.

'Stand still Arabella for your brother.'

'Your brother is relying on you. Don't make her down.'

She kept repeating her words to stable her condition.

Her sweet smile left her face as the dizziness was already unbearable.

"This man..."

"Husband..."

These words kept her losing her calm.

She closed her eyes again to acquire her sanity and get rid of the uneasiness she felt.

In the dark, a sharp light appeared. Then slowly, she saw herself wearing a white gown and she was

holding a bouquet.

She walked on a red carpet with a smile on her face.

She saw Adam, her son, smiling happily waiting for her in front.

He was very handsome in his formal suit.

Then her eyes landed on the man who was standing beside Adam.

He was very handsome too.

His feature looked like her son, Adam.

Adam looked like him so much.

She knew she knew him.

His face was very familiar.

His smile was divine.

His figure was screaming for power.

He was overbearing but had a gentleness that she could not explain.

He was looking at her with proud and meaningful eyes.

She could see sparks in his eyes and if she was not mistaken, he adored her so much as she could

see his strong desire for her.

"Arabella Jones, do you take Eric Grant to be your wedded husband?"

Without receiving any reply from her, the officiating priest asked Arabella again.

Eric strode closer to Arabella.

He was alarmed by her lost expression.

One could easily say that she was caught in her deep thinking.

Her uneasiness became obvious to him.

Eric quickly held her hand and he could feel her cold temperature.

"Arabella are you okay?" Eric tilted his head towards her and whispered worriedly.

Arabella had no answer which made Eric more alarmed.

He squeezed her hand to get her attention.

Arabella's eyes widened like she was awakened.

With Eric's squeeze, she was snapped back to her senses.

"Bill..." She muttered. Her expression was awful.

"Bill Sky..." Arabella said along with her trembling body.

Hearing Arabella, Eric was taken aback.

'Did she remember everything?' His mind was a mess.

He looked at her with a big question mark on his face.

“Arabella, are you okay?” Eric wanted to confirm but instead of hearing her answer, Arabella’s tears

came out running down her cheeks.

Eric felt very worried as Arabella looked in Ivan’s direction.

The sparks in her eyes instantly died inside.

At that very moment, Eric knew Arabella was back to her normal self.

He felt terrible for what he had done.

He deceived her by letting her believe that Ivan was her son, Adam when he could correct and

explained to her the real thing.

But how?

After the explanation, what would happen to her?

Could he handle her breakdown?

Eric heaved a very heavy sigh while he didn’t let go of her cold hand.

‘No matter what, he would not let go of her.’

If ever the wedding would not push through, he would still be there to protect and take care of her.

If Arabella would decide to cancel their wedding, he would not get mad.

Maybe this was just the karma he had to get for deceiving her.

“I do.”

Eric was shocked by Arabella’s answer.

He looked at Arabella with a questioning expression.

He frowned at her but Arabella smiled as a reply to his uneasy expression.

After the ceremony ended, they had a simple cocktail celebration for the guests.

Their guests were just more on Eric’s relatives and Ivan’s.

His grandmother was also present for her to witness everything.

She still had not known his plan yet.

So, Eric let her enjoy first the celebration with her invited friends.

“Thank you for making this wedding happen,” Eric whispered to Arabella who was sitting beside him.

Her sweet smile was not leaving her face.

“Brother, when I said I will help you, that was coming from my heart,” Arabella whispered back making

Eric feel guilty.

“I am very lucky to have you in my life.” Hearing her reply, Eric couldn’t help to hold her hand and

kissed it softly.

Arabella quickly snatched her hand feeling the awkwardness.

“I’m sorry.” Snapping back to his senses, Eric quickly apologized.

He hated himself for being so impulsive with his true feeling toward her. “I’m very sorry. I’m really am.”

Eric felt he had to kill the awkwardness immediately before it spread and they would stay together with

it.

Arabella seriously looked at him.

“It’s okay brother but we have to avoid such a thing next time.” Her voice was sweet but strict.

“I understand,” Eric replied with calmness but deep inside him, he felt hurt.

He didn’t know what this marriage would lead them but he just didn’t want it to end.

Arabella belonged to him now and there’s no way he would let her go.

He would do anything to make her stay in his life.

“I have to excuse myself brother. I badly need to go to the restroom.” After a while, Arabella said.

She knew she drank a lot of wine tonight after remembering Bill Sky and Adam.

She missed her son a lot but she had to stand by her decision to help Eric.

Walking toward the restroom, she could feel her head was already spinning.

It seemed the wine was already taking over her and also her heavy heart.

When she entered the restroom, she opened directly the faucet and cupped the water with her two

palms then she dipped her face in it.

The cold water instantly sobered her dizziness but not the pain in her heart.

She had to find her son no matter what.

She had to find Bill Sky.

Yes! She had to ask Eric Grant to help her.

With his money and connections, they could immediately locate Bill’s location.

Thinking of this, she quickly finished and patted a dry tissue on her face.

When she was about to exit the restroom, she was bumped by three men then the next thing that

happened Arabella woke up in a dark room.

“Brother! Are you there?” She shouted horrified with her situation.

Her two hands were separately cuffed spreading the same with her legs on a bed.

“Brother! Help me!” She was trembling inside while she was shouting her loudest.

After the kidnapping incident when she was a kid, she had always feared the darkness.

Every time she was in a dark room, that incident always came back to her and she always wished for

her brother Eric to save her.

“No one can save you here.” A very familiar voice suddenly sounded in the dark.

Arabella froze.

That voice…

She instantly trembled in fright.

“No one can save you from me.” The man sounded again with the most ruthless tone.

“Bill Sky…” Arabella muttered in the air with cold sweats appearing all over her.
