You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 262

Chapter 262

"We can have our wedding after she wakes up, right?"

After listening to Coralie's request, Yohan asked.

She couldn't help being stunned for a moment.

"Right?" repeated Yohan, obviously irked.

It seemed that he did not expect that she would request to postpone their wedding because of Hera.

"Only after she recovers..."

He interjected, "Recover how?"

Yohan was bombarding Coralie with questions.

"After she wakes up and until she can walk normally..."

She knew that Yohan might not end this conversation if she didn't make herself as clear and specific as

possible.

"Ok."

Yohan responded after keeping silent for a moment.

However, he seemed to have a plan in his mind.

Coralie thought that Yohan was not going to make any decision before Hera's condition got any better.

The next afternoon, when Coralie was accompanying Hera in the ward, more than 20 domestic and

foreign specialists came in. They began to study and discuss Hera's case notes.

Yohan had brought in so many specialists and consultants for Hera!

The specialists were all in the room; Coralie had nowhere to sit. Eventually, she was pushed out of the

room.

Yohan stood by the door with her.

"Why did you get so many people to come here?"

It was out of Coralie's expectation. Although she didn't know the background of those specialists,

judging from their age and charisma, they were definitely not ordinary persons.

"There will be a way to cure Auntie Hera with so many people's help."

Yohan seemed to have turned in a good mood looking at the specialists, who were examining Hera

inside.

"Thank you."

Although Yohan's intention was that they could have their wedding as soon as possible, he was still

helping Coralie in a way.

Of course, she had to thank him.

......

After examining Hera, the specialists asked for the operation details from the hospital record team, as

well as other information.

Coralie felt that Hera should be able to wake up soon with so many specialists around.

On the third day, Coralie decided to buy some fruits for them as a way to express her gratitude. When

she arrived at the conference room, the door was half-closed. She heard them arguing...

"This medicine is still in the developmental stage. There's no solid evidence proving that it won't have

any side effects after using it. It can't be used!" a man shouted across the room.

Another lady rebutted, "But this is the only way to make the patient wake up as soon as possible!"

"I don't agree." The man was persistent.

"You don't agree? Do you have any other ideas then? If the patient does not wake up any sooner, we

will all lose our job!"

Coralie stood by the door, listening to the arguments between the experts. She withdrew her hand,

which was on the doorknob, standing there dumbfounded.

It turned out that Yohan had been putting pressure on those experts. Were those specialists going to

resort to using Hera as a test subject?

After pondering for a while, she pushed the door open and entered the conference room. "You can't

use my mother as a test subject!"

Those specialists were having a heated discussion. As soon as Coralie came in, their expressions

changed as a heavy silence fell onto the room.

One of them rose from his seat. "Yes, Miss Chariott. We won't use your mother as a test subject."

Another followed suit. "Don't worry. We won't do that."

"Miss Chariott, fret not. We will find a way to cure your mother."

Those specialists were obviously older than Coralie, and they looked dignified. Most of them remained

silent when they saw Coralie come in. Those who were speaking at this moment were just trying to

calm her down.

Coralie wasn't a fool either. She knew that they were taking the risk because Yohan pressured them.

Even if they promised not to use Hera as a test subject, who knew how things would go?

"I'll talk to Mr. Leonardo. I will make sure you have enough time to think of a solution."

After hearing Coralie, the specialists looked at each other helplessly. They were not sure if Coralie's

words carried weight.

However, a relatively younger specialist stood up and said to Coralie, "Mr. Leonardo gave us ten days,

and now three days have passed. According to the current situation, it is very difficult for Madam Jean

to wake up in ten days."

Everyone looked at him nervously after he had finished speaking, but no one denied what he had just

said.

Judging from the current situation, that man was probably telling the truth.

"Alright." Coralie nodded. "Thank you for doing your best in helping my mother. I'll handle Mr.

Leonardo."

After that, she bowed deeply to all of the specialists.

She had seen their hard work over the past few days.

The person nearest to Coralie helped her up and replied, "We're doctors. It is our duty to save lives."

In the afternoon, after Yohan came back from the office, Coralie went to him. "Yohan, I know you are

worried about my mother and our wedding, but not everything can be solved by force."

"What's wrong?"

After hearing what Coralie said, Yohan asked her with a smile.

He never expected Coralie would know that he was pressuring the specialists.

"Yonn, if my mother can't wake up, our wedding will only be postponed, not canceled. Don't worry

about that."

Coralie knew that since she had traded her life for Skylar's, she must keep her promise.

Besides, Yohan had helped to resolve Skyton Corporation's crisis a few years ago, so it was

reasonable for her to marry Yohan.

"No, the date has been set already."

Yohan frowned.

"Ok. I swear that as long as you are alive, I will be with you forever. If something bad happened to my

mother because of this, even if I don't blame you, you would definitely be guilty about it. You wouldn't

want to spend the rest of your life living in guilt, would you?"

Coralie tugged at Yohan's sleeves, looking up at him seriously.

She hoped that he could understand her concern. She always felt that Yohan was a kind person.

Yohan was touched deeply by Coralie's promise. He seemed to have figured it out. "Yes, you're right.

We still have a lot of time." She had just pledged to be with him forever.

"Yes, I won't break my promise to you."

Coralie coaxed Yohan as if he was a child.

Yohan seemed to always fall for that. Although he was in his thirties, deep inside, he would always

choose to be a little boy when he was with Coralie.

"Excuse me, Mr. Leonardo."

While they were talking, a male voice interrupted them.

Coralie looked back, seeing Jasper standing next to her. The last time she saw Jasper was few years

ago.

"What's the matter?" Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Yohan saw Jasper and his smile disappeared at once. He immediately put on a cold look.

"Nothing, may I talk to Coralie Chariott? Oh no, I should say Coralie Zac."

Jasper looked at Coralie. His gaze was still filled with disdain, just like a few years ago.
