Your Guise Is Slipping, Miss Pearl

Chapter 1257

Chapter 1257

Esther stopped dwelling on the past and abruptly raised her head. 'What did you say?"

It was a lie?

"Yeah, you didn't really use your brain. If you think harder, you'll see the truth.

Esther connected recent events and went pale. "You're saying he lied to me on purpose? Because he's sick and doesn't want to burden me?*

When she considered it that way, it all made sense. James knew he was very sick, so he made up a reason to break up with her because he didn't want her to have to deal with it.

Luther laughed a little. 'You're not that stupid."

"But that woman looks a lot like me." Esther still had doubts.

"Yep, he found someone who looks like you on purpose." Luther sighed. "Also, my brother has a room. I think it's filled with your posters. Have you ever been in that room?"

Esther was shocked. "I had no idea."© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

"How silly!"

Esther felt ashamed because she had never paid attention to that. She knew James had a room he didn't let anyone into, including her. She thought it was off-limits or that there was something about him she didn't know.

Since he didn't want to share it, she never thought much about it. But then...

"You didn't expect my brother could be such a huge fan, did you?' Luther asked.

"How did you learn about this?"

Luther just smiled at her. "Didn't I tell you? Nothing escapes me if I want to know about it."

"But why are you telling me this?" If Luther wasn't lying, Esther wondered why he was being so nice to tell her about this.

Luther sighed with regret because Esther seemed so happy but confused. 'I didn't think it would make you so happy. If I had known, I wouldn't have told you."

Esther was stunned. "Why?"

"Because I just realized you're quite interesting. If my brother doesn't make it, you could be with me."

Esther blushed. Unexpectedly, Luther was still in the mood to tease her. "Thanks for the offer, but no thanks." Luther got up and slowly approached her. He kept smiling, looking friendly and calm. No one would think otherwise.

He came over to her and suddenly leaned down, placing his hands on the armrests. Their closeness changed the mood to something romantic

"Do you think I'm not as good as my brother?"

Luther was tall and looked very nice, especially his face. He seemed gentler and more approachable than James. Even though they didn't look very much alike, they were both attractive.

For a moment, Esther didn't know how to respond to Luther's question, so she stepped back. "Mister Luther, please show some respect."

"Respect?" Luther raised her chin and said, "You're in my house. Do I need your permission to do anything?"
