Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 230

Chapter 230

You b*stard! Alicia almost blurted this as well.

Upon entering the office, Alicia saw Frederick sitting on a revolving chair with Danica lying on him face- down. Besides, his hand was placed on Danica's shoulder whose clothes were off her shoulder. They were in an extremely compromising situation.

Alicia couldn't believe what she just saw. She was stunned momentarily, lost for words.

At the same time, Frederick and Danica were surprised too. Right then, Danica's eyes seemed to glisten with tears and her lipstick was messy.

"A- Ally?" How did she get in? Frederick wondered.

He stood up reflexively and Danica was forced to follow suit. She exclaimed unconsciously.

"Ah! Ouch!"

"Are you alright?"

Frederick thought he hurt Danica and lowered his gaze at her. At that moment, her hair that was originally tangled in his button was loosened.

"I'm okay!" Danica shook her head and replied.

Alicia lost her temper at how Frederick and Danica were still flirting before her. She glanced around, grabbed the glass of water on the table, and splashed it at them.

"Frederick Clements! You disgusting b*stard! Liar! Go to hell! I don't want to see you again!"

"Hey!"

Meanwhile, Danica took a step back immediately as she was splashed wet, startled by Alicia's action.

"Bang!" Smashing the glass on the table, Alicia stormed out of the room as she wiped the tears rolling down from her eyes.

"Ally!"

Frederick regained his senses and wanted to chase after Alicia but Danica grabbed his arm. "Frederick! Look at you! You're all wet. Leave the explanation for later. How can you be seen like this?"

What Danica said made Frederick realize that he was still at work. It was definitely inappropriate for him to chase after Alicia.

Coming to her senses, Danica murmured, "Didn't you tell me that she's a sensible woman?"

Danica was being sarcastic. She scoffed to herself. If Alicia was sensible, what was the rush to explain the situation to her? Was there a need to make a scene if she was that sensible? Alicia was obviously not showing Frederick respect!

Danica took out a tissue from her bag and tried to clean Frederick up but he stopped her. Right then, he couldn't be bothered with her anymore.

"I'm okay! There's no need for that! Danica, please leave. I don't want something like this to happen again!"

Frederick's rejection was so evident that Danica's heart could not help but ache. NôvelDrama.Org © content.

"Do you have to be so cruel to me? Can't we be friends even when we're not together anymore? I just want to hang out with you. Why are you rejecting such a simple request?"

Tears fell down Danica's cheek as she spoke.

"I've tried to hold back and worked hard to accept reality! I just want to treat you to dinner and nothing more."

"Danica! Do you think this is appropriate? What happened earlier already caused Alicia to misunderstand! I will not turn down any gatherings but if it's just you and me, I'll have to say no. I think I've made myself clear."

Raising her gaze, Danica bawled at Frederick, obviously infuriated, "Why do you care whether she misunderstood? We did not do anything."

Frederick remained silent. He was afraid of triggering her further.

In the end, both of them remained silent.

Meanwhile, Alicia rushed out with tears in her eyes. As soon as she got out of the elevator, she dumped into Chet and almost knocked off what was in his hand.

"I'm sorry!"

"I'm fine. Miss Blanchard? What..." What just happened? Her eyes seemed to be swollen.

After making sure that Chet was fine, Alicia rushed out of the elevator.

Back in the car, Alicia was sobbing. She stepped on the gas as her tears continued to fall.

"Liar! Liar! All men are liars! You can't control yourself and now it has affected me! Frederick, you b*stard! B*stard!"

"It's broad daylight, you shameless d*ckhead! You even left the door unlocked. Horny and disgusting f*cker! Disgusting!"

As Alicia was venting, her phone rang. She did not even glance at it, assuming it was Frederick. She just let the phone ring.

"Go to hell! Why would I answer your call? You lied to me!"

"Hypocrite! Animal! Heartless monster!"

"So good with your words. Why did everyone choose to betray me?"

Alicia sped and drove to a deserted area. She stopped the car and went under a tree on the side of the bridge. She bent down and wailed.

Were all men this shameless? He could have told her he didn't like her. Why can't men just keep it in their pants? Why would he break her heart? What did she do to deserve this?

Right then, Alicia started reminiscing everything from the past. She was on the verge of breaking down!

Her phone rang again. Just as she was about to reject the call, she saw that it was an unknown number.

"Do you think changing a phone number would make me answer the call?"

F*ck!

Alicia declined the call. Before she could go through the records, the phone rang again. It was the same number. Alicia picked it up and shouted angrily.

"What? Stop bugging me! What do you want?"

Alicia was in a horrible mood and started yelling. Meanwhile, a strange male voice came from her phone. "If you want your brother to stay alive, come here with 800,000 dollars!"

Alicia froze. Then, she yelled back at the phone, "Are you out of your mind? I don't have a brother! I have no money, so f*ck off! Find someone else to scam! F*ck!"

Alicia hung up furiously.

Moments later, a notification sound came from the phone. There were pictures of a man being beaten up and being stepped on his face.

Staring at her phone, Alicia slowly stood up. Then, the phone rang again.

"Miss Blanchard, you were so hard to find! I don't think it will be a problem for someone who owns a Bentley to have 800,000 dollars. We are not kidnapping nor blackmailing. It is your brother who owes us money! We just want him to pay us back! You have an hour. If we don't see the money by then, come and collect his dead body!"

With that, the call was hung up. Only the disengaged tone was heard from the phone. Alicia's head was throbbing. She looked at the photo and the address given.

What was going on?

In a daze, Alicia drove to a bank nearby. After withdrawing some money, she hurried to the warehouse located at the northern mountain.

Upon entering the old warehouse, Alicia saw a bloody man. The man was weak with scars all over his body. He was no longer the young guy she remembered but she still recognized him.

"Nicholas? Hey! Get off of him!"

After a few strides forward, Alicia pushed away the men who were holding him down. Then, she helped the man, who was on the ground, up. The man started to speak coyly, a voice she was familiar with.

"Ally! My... Ally!"
