Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 123

Chapter 123

Sofia’s POV

Ryan echoed after a moment and I lifted my head to stare at him and I blinked once at him, biting the

insides of my cheeks almost immediately and at the same time, moving a little in my seat.

“We wouldn’t?” I asked and watched as he hesitated for a moment before nodding his head once, his

eyes still locked with mine, and I knew after a few seconds that it was extremely hypocritical of me to

start feeling guilty and weird about being told to keep some stuffs from Luca, when I had literally asked

him to to the same when he had found me crying in the here sitting room, some days ago.

Not like I was ever going to walk up to luca and start up a conversation about how Ryan started to ask

me about myself… and would it even matter? Now that I think about it, I honestly do not think it would

because it’s just something as simple as that and nothing as serious as me asking him to keep the

details about him finding me crying completely to himself.

I started to nod my head at him after a few moments and watched as he finally started to rise to his

feet. He moved upwards slowly until he was towering over me, and I had unconsciously moved back on

the couch– even though my back had been firmly plastered on the backrest it the couch all along. He

moved past and my eyes followed after him immediately until he started to sink into the couch exactly

beside mine. I stared up at him and now I didn’t need to stare down at him anymore because he wasn’t

crouched beside my feet anymore, and was now sitting on the couch beside mine. And since he was

taller than me on a normal day, so it was perfectly understandable thst he managed to tower over me

even in a sitting position, not like I was even bothering to sit straight in the couch at the moment, seeing

as my back was slouched on the couch and I wasn’t in any mood to get into a better sitting posture–

but then even if I was, the strength to move my muscles and get into that posture was beyond me and I

knew I was out of that kind of strength for now, at least.

“So, you are still planning on telling me about yourself, right?” I heard him ask because I was currently

staring straight ahead, my eyes loosely locked on the television opposite where I was currently sitting

on c at the far end of the wall, and I turned my head around a little until I was staring at him. I shrugged

a little before I started to speak. “Well, will you also tell me about yourself?” I questioned back in reply,

because I could remember when I had tried to start a conversation about those kind of things about him

and how he had barely given me a clear and straight reply before he was changing the subject

immediately, and still didn’t get to reply well, making it super hard for me to continue a conversation

with him.

And now, since he had created this Avenue for me unknowingly, I was going to mill it to my own good

as well, and if he indeed wanted to know where I was from and some more things about me, then he’d

going to have to want to share some details with me as well In exchange for what I am going to be

giving to him.

I watched as he paused for a few more moments and moved a little on the couch which he was sitting

on, and he lifted his hand to move it over his face for a fleeting second as well, before finally turning his

head around until he was staring at me.

“Some things about me?” His voice echoed out in a tone that wasn’t too loud, but then it wasn’t as low

as it had been when he had been crouched down beside the leg of my couch, a while ago. Now, his

voice sounded in between and it was a perfect blend, at least that was what it sounded like to my own

ears.

“Yeah, some things about you.” I said to him in reply and gave a few nods of my head, I was still staring

at him and I ignored the way he was watching my every move as I pushed myself around a little on the

couch, right before I continued after pausing for a few moments. “You said you wanted to know some

things about me, right?” I echoed out and watched as he gave a nod of his head.

“Yeah, I did. I do. I want to know some things about you, things I don’t know about and things which I

am sure are going to be a lot.” He started to speak and I watched as he leaned backwards on his chair

so it looked like he was completely relaxed on the couch which he was currently sitting on.

To think I thought they barely sit on the couches here, do go how they always acts – but then here is

Ryan, looking relaxed in the couch here, like he had all the time in the world. Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

And when I start to think about it, I realize almost immediately that I do not mind one bit, I didn’t mind at

all.

It was good, even.

“Oh,” I breathed out and forced myself into a straighter sitting position, just as I moved my gaze to rest

on the face of Ryan after a moment.

“You know, I also wanna know some things I don’t know about you.” I paused and chewed on the side

of my lower lip a little as I gave him a few seconds to use in digesting what I had just said, right before I

decided to continue to speak. “But then unlike you who obviously do know some things about me, I

unfortunately do not know a thing about you, except your first name, that’s all.” I said to him and

watched as he kept staring at me as my words sank into his head.

“You know more than one thing about me,” He suddenly murmured and I corked my head to the side a

little as my mind started to dance around the fact and probability that there might have been some

things about Ryan which he had probably told me about before, and I had ended up forgetting.

“I do?” I asked after a few moments and watched as he nodded his head once at me, right before he

started to speak.

“Well, you see, you do know about the fact that my name is Ryan, which is one thing about me.” He

started to speak and I nodded my head at him after a second of him talking. He started to speak once

again. “You see, you also know about the fact that I am also a bodyguard, which means you do know

two things about me.”

I breathed out a tiny laugh and started to shake my head at him almost immediately. “What? That’s one

thing, not two.” I said to him and watched as a small smile touched the sides of his lips with his eyes

still glued to mine.

“That’s two different details and not one, so you do know more than a thing about me.” He started to

say and I started to shake my head almost immediately, a small chuckle bubbling up from the lower

part of my throat.

“It’s still a thing and not two.” He replied after a moment and I argued right back, and when he snorted,

I felt another chuckle start to bubble out of my throat.

This was all completely new to me, and I realized that I liked it very much, starting from the whole

conversation thing, and moving towards the part where bickering got involved.
