Chapter 1367
Nash:
Louise was seething with jealousy. Jackson barely gave her the time of day, yet he was so attentive to Fiona. That sly fox must have some trick up her sleeve to have caught Jackson's eye! She was determined to uncover Fiona's true nature!
Thinking about the photos she had taken, a sly smile crept onto Louise's lips.
...
In the car.
Jackson popped open a tin of mints and offered a few to Fiona.
"We just finished dinner; these should help clear your palate."
Fiona gave them a quick glance, grabbed one, unwrapped it, and tossed it into her mouth with a playful grin. "You're really considerate, aren't you?"
Her smile had a mesmerizing effect, causing Jackson's striking eyes to narrow in delight.
This girl, young as she was, had a knack for being effortlessly charming.
Before long, they pulled up to the villa, and Jackson guided Fiona inside.
Unlike last time, the staff and bodyguards both inside and out treated Fiona with newfound respect and admiration.
Fiona had saved Adam's life, and that act alone had earned her their deep admiration.
Jackson led Fiona straight to Adam's room.
Adam was awake, lying in bed and staring blankly at the ceiling.
"Jackson, finally! You don't know how bored I've been!"
Seeing Jackson, Adam's face lit up with the relief of a long-lost friend.
Jackson just gave him a nonchalant look.
"Hey there, little sister, you're here too!"
Adam's eyes sparkled when he saw Fiona walk in with Jackson.
He tried to sit up quickly, but the pain from his wounds made him wince.
Jackson gently pushed him back down. "You're not healed yet, take it easy."
"Little sister, I heard you saved me," Adam said to Fiona, his voice brimming with gratitude. "You gave me a new lease on life. If you ever need anything, just let me know and I'll be there."
"Don't worry, I won't hesitate to call on you when I need it," Fiona replied, her straightforward nature leaving a positive impression on Adam
He pointed to his chest, wincing slightly. "Little sister, my chest still hurts a bit. Do you think it's infected or something?"noveldrama
"Take off your shirt, let me have a look."
Adam quickly shrugged off his shirt.
Fiona was so young he didn't see her as a woman.
And Fiona didn't see him as a man.
She sat at the edge of the bed, examining his bleeding wound, her brow furrowing slightly.
As she removed his bandage, they naturally leaned close.
Adam, catching the fresh scent of her youthful presence, held his breath.
No wonder Jackson was so taken; the girl was intoxicating.
"The wound's a bit infected, but it's nothing major," Fiona said after a thorough check. "We'll just apply some new medication. Get someone to bring the meds, and I'll fixŷou up."
IMS
"Hey kid, is there some special trick to applying the medication?" Jackson suddenly asked.
"Huh? Nope," Fiona replied, puzzled by his question. "Just slap it on."
As she finished, Jackson leisurely rolled up his sleeves to his elbows. "Then I'll handle it." Adam: "......"
He wanted to say no.
