His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 2897

In the end, everyone claimed to have steered clear of Hayden's room.

"Mr. Tate, you heard everything on the speaker. None of them entered your room," the receptionist said. "Did you lose something?"

"No," Hayden said. He thought to himself, 'Is that woman not coming forward out of fear that I might punish her for what happened? If that's the case, it's best that I don't disturb her.'Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Hayden arrived at the dining hall where the breakfast buffet was being served.

"Hayden." Avery spotted him and hurried over. "How are you doing? If you feel sick, you should rest in your room."

"I'm fine, Mom."

"Did you sleep well last night, Hayden? I was worried that you might throw up." Layla handed him a glass of juice.

He shook his head. "I just need water."

"Hayden, the gift bags for the guests at my wedding have become the talk of the town now," Layla said as she set her glass of juice down. "There are no photos, but everyone now knows that I was giving out gold bars and cars to my guests."

"It's fine. It's not like others didn't know we are rich before this," Hayden said before taking a sip of water.

"Photos of me and Eric were leaked as well. Someone snuck a few photos out." Layla grabbed her phone and showed Hayden the news article. "The photos were taken when Eric and I returned to the hall after I changed out of my heels."

"Do you think that reporters might have snuck in somehow?" Hayden asked.

"You don't think so? Our relatives would never leak photos to the press," Layla said with certainty.

After the previous night, Hayden had a different perspective.

Though the relatives of the Fosters might not leak photos of the wedding, the same could not be said about the relatives of the Santoses.

Hayden did not want to be prejudiced against Eric's family, but what had happened the night before had taught him a lesson.

Since it was already in the past, he did not intend to tell his family about it.

A few relatives' behaviors did not represent Eric and his parents, and the most important to Hayden was that Eric and Layla had a wonderful marriage.

He grabbed Layla's phone and glanced at the screen. "It's fine. You look great in the photos, and they didn't say anything that's not real."

Indeed, all the details, including descriptions of the menu and gifts to guests, stuck to the truth.

"I thought you would be furious, Hayden!" Layla shot him a look. "Why are you so nice all of a sudden after a night's sleep?"

Hayden handed her phone back to her and grabbed a plate.

Meanwhile, in the meeting room of a

certain press firm, a manager was commending Shelly in front of the entire office and promising to

reward her with 15, 600 dollars.

Shelly's colleagues were all envious of her and asked her to treat them to a meal after the meeting ended.

Shelly nodded.

"Shelly, how did you do it? I wanted to pretend to be a waiter, but the hotel wasn't recruiting any waiters!" one of her colleagues exclaimed.

"Yeah, Shelly. How on earth did you

get those photos? It's a shame that you didn't get any photos of the gift bags. would have loved to see what the gold bars and car models looked like"

"Shelly, you shocked us all! Teach us your ways! How did you get inside?"

Shelly took a deep breath and said, "I don't know where to begin. I still feel like I'm dreaming."

The manager tapped her on the

shoulder and said, "Great work, Shelly! We are the only firm to have. obtained the photos from the wedding and the entire community is shocked even with the release of the information about the gift bags! The comments on the internet are blowing up! Thank you, Shelly. How about you take two days off work and rest? Come back to the office in two days."

"Thank you! I will go home now, then," Shelly said before grabbing her purse to leave.
