MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Liam smiled at Amelia as she approached him.. just when he was about to pull her into a hug..

Aidan came in between and hugged him instead “Daddy”

Liam lifted Aidan up in his arms “Hey champ! how are you?”

“I’m so excited to be here again.. and we also came in the car you got for me”

Dylan took a glance at his wrist watch and sighed, Louisa and Nora haven’t arrived yet…

“Look at that.. now there’s a third wheel between them” Steven jested which earned a laughter from them all..

Liam placed Aidan down just as he wished, “Did you doll up just for me?” Liam whispered to Amelia..

Amelia rolled her eyes.. and pulled out a seat for herself..

“What do you think?”

Soon after they all began filling the empty spaces on the long dining table…

Brianna took a seat next to Cecile.. it’s been so long since they saw and chatted heartily with each other..

“Cecile I hope you are no longer upset with Liam for what he did.. if you still are.. I beg of you to forgive him”

Cecile touched Brianna’s hands resting on her laps..

“Liam is like a son to me.. and I can’t stay mad at my son for so long”

The cooks started filling the table with mouth watering dishes..

Clara inhaled the air and licked her lower lips “Karl I feel like I’m going to die if I don’t eat prawns”

Karl’s gaze trailed the long table in search of prawns..

“Where exactly did you see prawns? please don’t start your weird cravings here.. you can have lobsters instead”

Clara frowned and threw her face to the other side “More reasons our baby won’t look like you”

Abby shot James a look across the table which made him choke..

She grabbed her phone and went through it for a while before placing it down.. and almost immediately James phone beeped…

“Abby is anything wrong?”

Abby snapped her attention to Liam and shook her head.. Liam studied her facial expression for a while and then to James..

“I hope he isn’t troubling you?”

James flashed Liam a smile.. “Not at all Liam..” he answered quickly before Abby blurt out everything to him..

Dylan raised his phone to his ear.. he wanted to be sure if Louisa and Nora could make it tonight.. However he heard her ringtone around the dining room..

“Louisa.. good thing that you could make it.. come take a seat next to me” Amelia ushered..

Louisa walked into dining room and happily walked around the table.. she sat down next to Amelia and exchanged pleasantries with everyone..

“we were stucked in traffic” Louisa murmured squeezing Amelia’s hand..

“Oh.. well you are here now.. so do you have anything to say to me? like something that happened recently?” Amelia said teasingly..

Louisa’s gaze rested on Dylan who was happily chatting away with Nora..

“Yeah.. Dylan and I made up”

Amelia placed a hand on Louisa’s laps “Liam and I also made up… I think this is the happiness we deserve..”

Louisa smiled in return, she felt a gaze on her coming from across the table, she slowly lifted her head up to meet Dylan’s teasing smile..

James suddenly stood up when he couldn’t bear Abby’s threatening gaze anymore.. he excused himself and left the dining…

Abby dropped her cutlery and stood up also “Please excuse me.. I have an urgent call from my doctor”

Liam stared at her back hurrying out.. he stared at James empty seat and then to Abby… he felt something was wrong.

“Daddy I want that” Aidan pointed pulling Liam out of his thoughts…

Abby snatched the cigarette from James and threw it down..

“You coward! you came out to smoke! isn’t Liam your friend? why are you scared to talk to him about us?”

James turned to her with a sigh “That’s the point Abby.. Liam is my friend.. I’ve known him since we were kids.. and I don’t want to ruin our friendship.. what if he gets mad when he finds out the truth?”

Abby pushed him to the wall “So you are going to keep mute about it? Liam will also understand after all he loves Amelia..”

James pinched the space between his brows, how on earth could he explain things to Abby? Liam’s anger was like a ticking time bomb and he didn’t want to witness him erupt..

“Abby.. please understand my situation.. Liam will murder me once he finds out that I’m interested in his cousin sister”

“Oh.. really?.. then watch me tell him myself!”

She turned around and left the hallway, James ran after her to stop her…

Abby returned back to the dining room and sat down.. James also came in and sent an apologetic look to her..

“Is there something that I’m not aware of?” Liam suddenly spoke rendering the room silent…

Abby casted a look at James who later sighed “Yes Liam” he murmured..

Liam’s whole attention was fixed on James and whatever he had to say..

“Actually Liam.. I’m in a serious relationship”

Liam raised a brow, that was actually very surprising to him.. He had always known James to be a playboy but hearing the word ‘serious relationship’ from him was really shocking..

“Wow.. great.. I almost can’t believe it and who is this unlucky girl?” Liam teased..

James met Abby’s gaze for a brief second “Abby!”

A gasp escaped from everyone’s lips except Liam who still had an indifferent look on his face..

“Abby? which Abby?”

“Your cousin sister”

Liam spranged up to his feet and walked around the table..

He pulled James up from his seat threw a punch directly at his face..

“Hey Liam! back off!” Dylan yelled out holding Liam from attacking James any further..

“Do you think Abby is one of those girls who you have a stand with? she is my sister!” Liam barked out..

“Don’t hurt him Liam.. I’m sorry it was my fault I pressured him so much.. James isn’t like that anymore.. he is actually my fiance.. we got engaged three years ago”

Liam’s lips parted in unbelief.. His gaze went back to James..

“Fiance? Abby don’t tell me you already agreed to marry him.. or did your mum force you into it? and why am I just knowing this?!”

Abby shook her head “No Liam.. this was my decision.. I’m sorry we didn’t inform you sooner”

“Liam.. you don’t need to be upset.. you should be happy for Abby.. she actually told me about her liking to James few years back” Amelia added…

Liam’s anger subsided a bit, but he couldn’t believe the fact that James was Abby’s fiance..

Dylan chuckled.. this was amusing to him, who would have thought that James would end up with Abby and that too.. Liam’s family..

“Dude.. you just have to accept your new fate.. you got James as an in-law..”

Liam touched James shoulder giving it a tight squeeze… “If you dare try to hurt her in any way.. then I will make you pay dearly” Liam threatened..

James pulled Liam in for a bro hug “I give you my word Liam..”

Steven stood up and turned to Dylan who was laughing his heart out at the thought of James and Liam becoming inlaws..

“Dylan.. I think you should know about this too… I love Olivia”

Amelia took a bite out of her fork, things were only getting interesting by the seconds..

Louisa gasped and turned to Dylan who was about to burst out..

“What?!”

“We’ve been seeing each other for the past one year”
