He dropped Chloe gently to stand on the couch before turning to Amelia.

“You of all people should know all these, I don’t like her much please don’t force me”

“Okay, but be ready to sleep alone every night!” she said and left for the closet.

Liam returned his gaze to Chloe, he placed both of his hands on his hips staring at her.

Liam raised his head “What do you mean by that? I feel like you are trying to look for a way to fight with me!”

Amelia walked towards the mirror and tied her hair into a bun.

She walked towards Liam who gulped down, he moved back slowly. His eyes darted around looking for a possible escape from her clutches.

Liam raised his head from his laptop after hearing her sneeze for the umpteenth time in the span of thirty minutes.

Amelia lazily opened her eyelids that were heavy, she sneezed again and this time Liam handed her a box of tissue.

“You don’t look too good Amelia” Liam said brushing her hair with his long fingers.

He touched her forehead and cursed, she was burning hot. “You have a high temperature, I warned you last night but you didn’t yield to my warning” Liam scolded and lifted her up from the bed.

“Now is not the time to remind me of my shamelessness, you need a doctor’s attention”

Cecile saw Liam heading her way with Amelia in his arms. She hurriedly walked towards them to check if she was fine.

“What is wrong with her?” Cecile worriedly asked touching Amelia’s head.

Amelia opened her eyes “I’m not dead mum it’s just a fever! quit worrying so much”

Cecile rolled her eyes, “I’m sure it’s more than that, you are saying all these to avoid going to the hospital but I’m here which is much worse”

“She is scared of the hospital?” Liam asked to receive a nod from Cecile. Now it all makes sense to him on why she runs away from the hospital each time she was admitted.

“What’s there to be scared about?” Liam inquired.

“The needles” Cecile blurted out to receive a glare from Amelia.

Liam couldn’t control his urge to laugh, now he knows three things she was scared of.

“Laugh all you want, and mum did you really have to tell him?”

Liam dropped her on the couch in the living room to sit. “liam you can go now”

Amelia made a face at him and watched him leave.

Amelia sneezed and sniffed back. “Can you get the right drugs? it’s getting unbearable”

“Yeah I was wondering why you tend to speak too much whenever you are ill”

Amelia rolled her eyes “I got most of my qualities from you so who knows?” she shrugged her shoulders lazily and relaxed on the couch.

She prayed the fever goes away quickly, she still had a few more scenes to shoot with kelvin and she would like to resume shooting as soon as possible..

A maid walked towards Amelia who was napping on the couch. She rolled her fingers on her black straight hair.

“so pretty In person” she murmured, her phone rang out and she moved a little distance away from Amelia.

“Yeah I got in but with a lot of stress and questions but don’t worry I will do exactly as you say” she said rolling her eyes.

“Make her notice how nice and good you are and after you’ve suceeded we move to the next phase”

“Okay got it!” she replied nonchalantly and hanged up.

“Hello there! get me a glass of water”

The maid froze after hearing Amelia’s voice behind her. she turned swiftly with a smile going towards her.

“Sure ma’am anything else?”

“No that will be all” she replied and the maid left, shortly afterwards she returned with a glass of water.

Amelia took notice of her cute smile and nice personality.

“Were you hired recently?”

The maid nodded her head in response to her question. “Yes ma’am”

“What is your name?”

“Stephanie”

Amelia returned the glass of water to her and watched her leave.

Stephanie’s heart danced with joy not only did the actress noticed her, she also called out her name.
