Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 131

Chapter 131

Naomi sifted through the memories of everything that happened that night, as well as what happened at Fansville, La Luna, and during her hospitalization. An intense look crossed her face as she focused on the details in her memories.

After a long time, she turned and glanced at the time on her phone, then turned off the lights and climbed into bed.

What happened that night made her realize one thing—she and Scott grew far too close to each other, until a point where she was playing along with his act so that he could make everyone else around them think they were still together. This was wrong of her. Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.

She initially thought that they would have limited interactions since she assumed Scott would not get too involved in the museum's opening. At the same time, she wanted to play along with Scott out of respect for their three years of marriage, and she never once questioned her decision to do so. However, after what happened that night, she finally realized how wrong it was of her to do so.

Scott was already with another woman, and yet she and Scott were giving other people the false assumption that they were still married. Although Naomi knew Scott must have had his reasons for doing this, that did not mean it was right.

What would Olivia think of all this if she found out?

Naomi decided to put herself in Olivia's shoes; how would she feel if her husband was running around town with another woman?

Although she and Olivia had their problems in the past, this did not mean it was okay for her to steal Olivia's man. This was a matter of integrity.

Naomi knew she had to call this quits. Therefore, she decided that she would sit Scott down the next day to discuss this and finally disclose her decision—that she would not work with him in Herland.

Naomi did not want to have any further unnecessary interactions with Scott anymore. The last thing she wanted was for more and more people to get the wrong idea about their relationship, and at the same time, she did not want her friends and family to worry.

It did not take long for Naomi to be overcome by drowsiness. Her eyes slowly slid shut as she drifted off to sleep.

Herland was a seaside town and was always graced with beautiful weather and refreshing sea breeze. The next morning, Naomi woke up feeling energized and rejuvenated. As soon as she got ready, she texted Scott to ask him about their plans that day so that she could arrange a conversation with him.

However, Scott's reply came before she could even send out her own.

[Dylan will bring you to the museum in a bit. I have something to handle, so I'm not sure what time I'll be back.]

Naomi paused, then instinctively let out a sigh of relief.

What happened the night before plagued her, but it would appear that Scott realized the inappropriateness of their interactions as well. Or perhaps Naomi was just reading too much into this, and that Scott was telling the truth about being busy.

Either way, she was relieved that she did not have to spend the day with him.

It would appear that Scott wanted to keep his distance from her as well.

Naomi smiled at this. She felt as though a weight were lifted off her shoulders, but there was still one thing she needed to tell him.

Naomi deleted her original message and typed out a new one, then pressed send.

Meanwhile, at the same time, a black car pulled up in front of the hotel entrance. The driver opened the rear passenger door, and Scott slid into his seat.

All of a sudden, his phone buzzed in his pocket.

He tapped on the incoming message.
