Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 233

Chapter 233

Dylan got a strange sense of satisfaction every time he saw these two lovebirds.

Scott met Dylan's gaze head-on and caught sight of the mischievous, teasing look in his eyes, but he was not fazed at all.

"Yes."

Dylan's grin widened. "Well, sounds like you can take it easy now. You can finally get back to work after being stuck in Herland for so long. I'll help you take care of Naomi."

Chandler let out a cough and shot Dylan a murderous glare. "Be serious!" This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Dylan finally realized he seemed to have crossed a line and let out an awkward cough. "Sorry. I was just messing around."

Everyone chuckled at this. Everyone had come to know Dylan very well, so they were accustomed to his harmless jokes and sociable personality. They could also tell that he and Scott were close friends who frequently joked around with each other, so they were not bothered by it at all.

Naomi, however, had not even been listening. Her eyes were fixated on the majestic statue and had already wandered off to look at it.

Chandler caught sight of that and immediately grew even more fond of her. Naomi had a kind, beautiful soul who was always helpful and patient at work. He could not pick out a single flaw about her even if he wanted to.

Chandler sighed at the thought of this. If only his own grandson could bring home such a perfect wife…

However…

Someone's face appeared in his mind, and Chandler could not help chuckling.

Edith was the one who had chosen Naomi to be her granddaughter-in-law, and he had to admit she had a great eye. Perhaps one day he would have to visit her to ask her for a favor—to help Dylan find a nice wife…

Although Dylan and Scott were close friends, Dylan knew he had a line he was not supposed to cross, so he quickly clamped his mouth shut and did not joke anymore at Scott's expense. When he noticed Naomi looking at the statue, he quickly went over to her and began telling her the story behind the statue.

Scott would not get mad at him so long as Naomi was happy, so he had to keep Naomi in a good mood.

Naomi listened attentively to Dylan's story and took down the details.

Everyone enjoyed a tour of Lucky Street with Dylan as the guide and sat down for a quick lunch before continuing their shopping trip for the rest of the afternoon. Naomi initially thought Scott would leave once he dropped her off with everyone else, but she was surprised when he continued to join the tour.

When evening rolled around, everyone sat down for dinner, including Scott. After dinner, they were all supposed to watch a show which Dylan had arranged for. The show was also a famous Herland tourist attraction held for only a few days every month, and they just so happened to be in town for it.

After dinner, Dylan led them to the theater, with Quentin and Chandler in the lead and the rest of the wood carvers following closely behind. Naomi had deliberately hung back when everyone exited so that she would be at the end of the line. Scott joined her.

Naomi slowed herself down so that she was a distance away from the rest of the group and turned to Scott.
