Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 83

The door was left ajar, and everyone outside the room could see inside it, and vice versa. Despite this, the person at the door still knocked out of courtesy.

Everyone turned in the direction of the door, including Naomi, but her heart almost leaped out of her chest when she heard the familiar knock.

It could not possibly be Scott, could it?

She was proven wrong once more

Naomi’s mind went blank when she saw the familiar silhouette at the door. Everyone fell silent when they saw Scott, clearly intimidated by his domineering aura.

Scott glanced into the room. His gaze landed momentarily on Naomi’s face, registering the surprised look in her eyes, then turned to stare at Chandler.

“I was wondering what kept you so long, Scott. You told me you were at the door, and yet I didn’t see you come in. I was just about to send someone to look for you,” Chandler said, smiling.

Scott walked over to his side. “Hello, Uncle Chandler.‘

“You came just in time, Scott. Take a seat.” Chandler gestured for Scott to sit next to him.

Everyone else stared at this in astonishment, especially Quentin, who recognized Scott almost immediately. He remembered seeing this man on the day of Naomi’s wedding.

Quentin lived a long life and met countless people in his lifetime, but Scott was among the rare few who left a lasting impression on

him. Scott exuded an aura of grace and confidence that no one else could surpass, and anyone who laid eyes on Scott would agree that this man was destined for great

things.

As harsh as it was to say this, Quentin thought that Scott was far too good for Naomi, but because of this, he still remembered Scott to this day and could recognize him almost immediately.

The same went for some of the wood carvers there. Most of them attended–Naomi and Scott’s wedding three years ago, and although some of them did not possess good memory, the rest still remembered.

Everyone was stunned to see Scott entering the room, and they glanced between Naomi and Scott in astonishment. They all knew that Naomi and Scott divorced, but it would seem that this was not the

case.

Naomi, unbeknownst to this, was still taken aback by Scott’s sudden appearance. She never once imagined that Scott would one day become involved in her work.

However, as confused as she was by this, she knew she had to put a brave face on, so she snapped out of her stupor.

Although she hoped that she could cut ties with Scott after the divorce, the truth was, that fate had other plans, and there was nothing she could do to stop them.

Naomi stood up and returned to her seat next to Harold, but Chandler noticed this and asked, “Where are you going, Naomi? Come, sit here, next to Scott. You two might have some things inContent bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

common to talk about.”

Chandler beckoned for Naomi to come over, but all of a sudden, Scott said, “Did you forget, Uncle Chandler?”
