Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 222

Chapter 222

Once Hansen was settled, Andre headed out.

Mia was waiting for him at the door. "Is Hansen asleep?"

Andre nodded, put his arm around Mia's shoulder and led her back to the bedroom.

Hansen's life was taken care of by the butler, and Naomi was by Bruce's side.

Before Andre and Mia left, they took a look at Leo, who was alone.

"Andre, I'm not drunk. I know my limits," Leo responded to Andre's rare show of concern.

On the day Leo came of age, Andre took him to a bar, put a bottle of hard liquor on the table, and had

him drink it glass by glass.

Until he was almost drunk, Andre told him to remember how it felt and not to drink anymore whenever

he felt like that.

Andre was actually very concerned about Leo's future. He had told his nephew, who had just come of

age, never to get drunk in public.

Leo also understood Andre's intentions and had never gotten drunk in public.

Molly stayed at the Byrne family for a day. On the first day of school, she returned to the Cedillo family.

This time, she was sent back by the Byrne family.

Back at the Cedillo family, Molly told her family, "My grandpa's health isn't good. The doctor said he

needs surgery. My grandma and dad are taking turns looking after him. My mom's company is also

getting busy as the end of the year approaches. And with the holidays coming up, my brother says

there'll be a lot of crime, like pickpockets at train stations, people selling stolen phones, and people

trafficking women and children. There are also home invasions. My brother is busy at the police station Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

and can't look after me. They don't feel comfortable leaving me alone at home, so they sent me back."

Hansen thought the Byrne family's actions were considerate.

"Now that you're back, don't wander around aimlessly and behave yourself at home. When Christmas

comes, if you want to go back, you can stay at the Byrne family's for a while. When is Grandpa Elmer

having his surgery? If we have time, we'll all go to the hospital to see Grandpa Elmer."

Molly nodded.

Mia occupied a large sofa all to herself. When she got home from school, she put her books on the

table and lay on the sofa with a pillow and fell asleep.

Hansen wanted to prank Mia, so he shouted at her, "Run! The house is on fire!" hoping to scare her.

However, Mia continued to sleep.

Seeing Hansen's disappointed face, Leo said, "Your shout isn't working. Let me try."

He squatted next to Mia and shouted, "Fight! Fight! Someone's going to hit you!"

Mia remained unmoved.

Watching their comical scene, Molly had an idea.

She walked over, bent down to Mia's ear, and whispered, "Mia, your husband's back. Andre's been

watching you."

Mia's eyeballs moved under her eyelids, she frowned in discomfort, then slowly opened her eyes. Her

vision was blurry, and it took a couple of blinks for her to come to. "Where's my husband?"

Hansen and Leo looked at Mia, unsure of what to say.

Mia had woken up at the mention of her husband's name.

Hansen felt a bit annoyed, thinking life had been too comfortable lately and wanting to stir Mia up a bit.

Naomi said, "Dad, don't go looking for trouble. When she's in a good mood, she'll try to make you

happy. When she's not, she's like a bomb that can blow up the whole Cedillo family."

Hansen thought carefully and found Naomi's words reasonable.

Better not provoke Mia casually. He wasn't actually worried that Mia would blow up the house, but that

he'd annoy her and have a hard time afterwards.

Mia sat up from the sofa, looking not at all refreshed.

Molly didn't hold back and asked her straight away, "What were you doing last night?"

"Playing games."

"Were you playing games with Andre in bed or in the bathroom?"

Mia turned to look at Molly. As a married woman, these words made her feel shy, but Molly, being a

single woman, showed no signs of embarrassment at all. "I played games with my husband until

midnight, then my phone was confiscated and I went to sleep. I got up at 6 this morning, so I'm really

tired now."

Molly seemed a bit disappointed.

"Why are you disappointed?"

Molly: "I'm disappointed for Andre."

Thinking of her husband, Mia only wanted to roll her eyes.

He was a gentleman during the day, but turned into a beast at night, gnawing on her whenever he got

hold of her.

"Every time I think of him, I get angry. I'm going to go to the bedroom to sleep. Call me at dinner time."

Mia took her book and left the living room.

Only Hansen, Molly, and Leo were left in the living room.

Hansen took out his phone. "Molly, how about the three of us play a game?"

Molly: "Dad, I need to get some sleep."

Hansen looked at Leo.

Leo met his grandpa's gaze. "What are you looking at me for?"

Hansen: "How about the two of us play?"

Leo: "Grandpa, my hand's cramping."

Leo also took his book and left.

Hansen looked around the living room. Just a moment ago there were three people to keep him

company, and now there was no one.

He was angry. "No respect for the elderly."

In the evening, Andre came home.

When he found out that his wife had been sleeping on the sofa in the afternoon because she was tired,

he laughed as he listened to his sister and Hansen recount the day's events.

"Andre, do you know how your wife woke up?"

Andre laughed as his sister continued.

Molly didn't hold back in betraying her best friend. "I called your name and she woke up. She loves you

so much, you should love her more."

Andre stood up. "Okay, I'll love her more when I go back."

Molly gave Andre some serious advice. "Andre, I hope you have two kids within three years, and three

in five years."

Andre looked up at the closed door. He said affectionately, "One in three years is enough. Mia's still

young, having too many isn't good for her health."

He hadn't seen Mia all day. Coming back to their bedroom, he noticed all the lights were still on.

Mia had just taken a bath, her hair looking freshly blow-dried.

"Darling, you're back." Mia had no clue that she had just been blessed by Molly with the blessing of

having two kids in three years and three in five.

Mia walked to her vanity, beginning to apply oil to her long hair.

"Did you sleep all afternoon?" Andre walked up to his wife, his hands gently resting on her shoulders.

Mia looked at her husband in the mirror, feeling a bit uneasy. "No, not the whole afternoon, I just closed

my eyes for a bit, no more than ten minutes."

Andre lowered his head, his face close to Mia's cheek. He stared at her reflection in the mirror, "I heard

that you woke up this afternoon when you heard my name, is that true?"

Mia pursed her lips, the adorable reflection of her spat out sharp words, "Darling, tell me who told you

that, I'll make sure they pay."

Andre sold out his sister without hesitation, "It was Molly."
