Chapter 223
Chapter 223
Andre began kissing his wife's cheek, his hand sliding down from her shoulder to her waist, gently
undoing her robe.
"Molly suggested we should have two kids in three years. I think one is enough," he said, leaving a bite
mark on her neck, then slowly moving to her lovely collarbone.
He was so careful, as if afraid to hurt Mia.
Andre scooped up his wife, who had been napping all afternoon, and carried her to the bed.
Mia tried to escape, but failed.
"Honey, your suit button is hurting me," she complained.
"It won't be for long," he replied.
Mia got the hint.
The room was dimly lit, shadows flickering on the walls.
The blanket slipped to the floor.
Molly was going to find Mia and remind her that she needed to prepare the forms in advance for
tomorrow's field trip.
Luckily, Leo stopped her. "Molly."
"Shouldn't you call me Auntie? I'm your aunt," Molly corrected him.
Leo clenched his teeth and his fists. "Looking at your face, I just can't bring myself to call you that."
Molly let it slide. She asked, "Why did you stop me?"
"In my experience, it's best not to roam around after 8 p.m., especially to find Andre and Mia. Even
though you're his little sister, if you disturb them, you'll still get a scolding," Leo warned.
Molly stared in shock at the closed bedroom door, then turned her gaze towards her nephew who had
experienced the reprimand.
She asked, "Isn't 8 p.m. too early?"
Leo responded, "If you're not scared, go knock. At least I've told you what you need to know."
Inside the room, after multiple attempts, Mia tried to bite her husband into pieces.
"Honey, I might be pregnant."
Mia told her husband, panting heavily.
At that moment, Andre was fully engrossed. He gently moved Mia's arms apart, placing them above
her head, and resumed kissing her.
After a while, the room fell silent.
Andre assured his wife that her worry was unnecessary, that he'd been cautious.
Every time after their intimate moments, Mia hoped to get pregnant as soon as possible.
"What time is it now?" she asked.
Andre checked the time. "Almost 11 p.m., time to sleep."
Mia sat up and told the man next to her, "Go get my laptop from your study. We have a field trip
tomorrow and I'm in charge of the group's form."
Andre replied, "It's already late, you should rest."
Mia countered, "You knew the time already. I told you to let me finish my homework first, but you
couldn't even wait half an hour."
Only after Andre was satisfied did he remember to pamper Mia.
He got out of bed, got dressed, and left the room.
Soon he returned with a white laptop.
Mia was lying on the bed, leaning on a pillow, naked with the blanket tucked under her arms. She
reached out for the laptop, her bent legs serving as a stand.
"You work on it, I'll take a shower."
Mia lazily responded.
She had never made a form before, and her professor was a foreigner, so she was slow.
She was also chatting with her brother, "Cooper, can you help me with my homework?"
When she sent another message, it said: Message sent, but denied by the recipient. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Mia complained angrily, "He really dared to block me!"
After Andre came out of the shower, she was still on Google, following step-by-step instructions.
"Adjust the font size, align. Weird, why are the numbers all messed up?"
Mia was talking to herself, holding her phone to her lips. "Why are the numbers in the form messed
up?"
Then, a new tutorial popped up on Google. "Oh, I didn't set it as text. But how do I convert it to text?"
She started voice typing on Google again, "How to set text in a form?"
Then, new steps popped up.
Mia was holding her phone in her left hand and following the steps, operating her laptop with her right
hand. She was very focused on her homework.
Andre's hair had already dried.
He sat on the edge of the bed, glanced at the time, and it had been more than half an hour.
"Are you done?"
"Honey, why is it only showing half of the words I typed?" Mia put the computer in front of the man.
Taking a glance, Andre asked her, "Did your teacher ask for an Excel or a Word form?"
"Is there a difference?"
Mr. Cedillo rephrased his question and asked his wife, "What's your plan?"
"I plan to make the data in Excel first, then copy and paste it into a Word document."
That way, she could directly use the existing form, without having to create a new one.
Mr. Cedillo looked at his clever wife. Did she also have moments of being not so clever?
He took Mia's laptop, then took her phone, checking the foreign-language message her teacher sent in
the group chat. "Is it a foreigner teaching your class?"
Mia nodded. "I was sleeping during his class. After class, I drew the short straw and got the form."
Andre briefly checked the teacher's requirements in the group chat, and then busy Mr. Cedillo started
helping his wife with her college homework.
"See this? Open the document, find Insert, then click on Table. Add the rows and columns your
professor specified."
Mia was cuddled up to her husband's side, obediently watching her laptop screen.
What had taken her forty minutes to do, her husband solved in four.
Mia felt a little hurt.
"Look, is this what your professor asked for?" Andre handed the laptop back to his wife.
Mia looked at the reference picture her teacher sent, and nodded blankly. "Honey, how did you manage
to do something so complicated?"
Mr. Cedillo was speechless.
Mia was good at reading people's expressions, and she noticed her husband's speechlessness. So she
asked, "Did you pass some professional certificate?"
Andre gently stroked her soft hair. "Honey, go to sleep. If you ever want to take an exam for a
certificate, you must tell me first."
"Will you help me revise?"
Mr. Cedillo said seriously and affectionately, "I'll give you a basic knowledge primer first."
His beloved Mia, who usually appeared to be smart and clever, but sometimes she could make him
think that she was a little muddle-headed.
Mia saved the form on her phone late at night. After turning off her laptop, she went over and kissed
her husband's lips. "Thank you, this kiss is free."
Andre opened his arms, holding her tightly, and adjusted the blanket to ensure she had a good night's
sleep.
