Chapter 232
Chapter 232
Back in the bedroom, he spilled the beans to Mia, adding, "Just a heads up, I'm not playing messenger
for you anymore. If I go there one more time, Andre might knock my block off."
Mia seemed pretty chuffed about that. "Don't worry, I won't send you there again."
She sat at Leo's computer desk with the bedroom door wide open, her face resting in her hands,
eyeing the door for the man who might pop up any second.
Seeing the relaxed smile on her face, Leo was a bit baffled. "Andre's given you the cold shoulder and
you're still grinning?"
Mia just chuckled. "Just wait and see, he'll definitely come for me."

"It's the confidence Andre gives me."
The man at the door was thinking: when did I ever give her confidence?
In Leo's bedroom, with the door open into the late night, everyone in the Cedillo family had fast asleep,
except for Mia who was still waiting for the man who might show up.
And sure enough, not three minutes later, the man showed up at the door.
Andre didn't have the guts to look at the girl inside.
But when Mia saw the man, she hopped up from her seat, charged towards the door, and flung herself
at Andre, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, hanging onto him. She
cooed sweetly at her husband, "My darling, I knew you'd come."
Andre held her waist with one arm and supported her with the other, holding her securely. Then he
gave her a couple of spanks on her booty, "Naughty girl."
Leo peeked out to see the man who had shown up. "Andre really did show up."
When Andre left, he closed the bedroom door.
Leo wanted to say: Andre, hold up, let me see how you discipline your wife.
Andre went back to his bedroom to check on his wife.
The scene Leo wanted to witness didn't play out.
So he had no choice but to hit the sack.
Back in the bedroom, Mia was clinging onto her husband. "My darling, you've spanked me, are we
even now?"
Andre got her onto the bed and climbed in from the other side. "Sleep now."
Mia immediately snuggled up to him. "My darling, are you still mad?"
"What can I do if I'm mad?"
When he was mad, she can be even more infuriating.
Mia quietly lowered her head. "My darling, it's just that if you leave me tonight, when we have quarrels
in the future, you'll always sleep in a separate room. I read a book about married life, and it said
couples should never sleep separately after a fight, as it will only make future conflicts bigger. Normally,
you can sleep wherever you like, and I'll give you space. But this time, we can't be apart."
Andre: "You actually read books?"
"I do."
"Does the book say how to solve quarrels?"
"It does, it says one party should give in. So I'll give you the opportunity to back down."
Andre: "Should I thank you for that?"
"You're welcome."
Andre was speechless.
He wanted to check his blood pressure.
Before sleep, Mia told her husband everything. She asked, "Will you punish Molly?"
"No."
"You're always biased, only scolding your wife but not your sister."
Mr. Cedillo: "I didn't scold her, this way I can intimidate her."
Sometimes, silence was the most terrifying.
He remained silent, knowing that if he didn't speak, Molly would start making wild guesses. In her
heart, she remembered that she hadn't been criticized for this incident yet, so she would be more
cautious in the future.
Mr. Cedillo's thoughts were not simple at all.
Mia called him "despicable."
"What did you say?"
Mia immediately turned timid. "My darling, I love you."
The next day, Molly was sent back from the police station.
Chad asked her, "Are you really not planning to go home?"
Molly: "My dad had spicy food last night, I don't know how he's doing today, I need to check on him.
After my exams, I'll go back home."
After hearing her plans, Chad said, "Go ahead, give me a call if anything happens."
Molly walked into the Cedillo family's house.
She walked all the way to the living room.
"Molly's back? Have you had breakfast?" Naomi asked Molly.
Molly nodded, "I ate with Chad, Naomi, where's dad?"
"He hasn't gotten up yet."
Molly then asked, "So last night, was Mia punished?"
Naomi chuckled, "Punish her? Andre would never do that. At most, he'd scold her a bit, don't worry."
Molly was still a bit worried.
In the morning, when she saw Andre, she immediately ran to the backyard to hide.
Andre knew his sister was scared of him, but he didn't expose her.
After breakfast, Andre left the house.
Only then did Molly come out into the living room.
Naomi shook her head and chuckled, these kids, they were so naughty when Andre was not around.
But as soon as Andre showed up, they turned into docile little lambs.
By nine in the morning, everyone was awake.
There were four people sitting in the dining room, all eerily quiet.
Hansen glanced at Mia, Mia turned to look at Molly.
Molly guiltily looked at Leo across the table.
The three of them were all involved in this situation, with Leo as the only bystander.
In the end, the gazes of the three involved parties focused on Leo.
Leo felt the pressure of the three sets of gazes on him from different angles, sensing something was
off.
Hansen put his cane on the dining table, showcasing his weapon.
Mia also rested her fist on the table as a warning.
Molly was comparatively gentler, she pulled out a pocket knife from her pocket and placed it on the
table.
Leo was speechless.
After a while, Leo said, "Grandpa, Mia, Molly, I have some stuff to take care of, you guys carry on."
He managed a strained smile, then left the dining room.
After Leo left, Naomi asked him, "Have you had breakfast?"
"I couldn't eat in that environment."
Later only three people were left in the dining room.
Hansen cleared his throat, and he asked Mia, "Mia, your husband, he's left right?"
Mia nodded, "He's left."
Then Hansen let out a sigh of relief, good, good that he was gone.
Molly asked Mia, "Last night, did he hit you?"
Hansen also looked at Mia curiously.
Mia shook her head, "Nah. Has Andre spoken to you this morning?"
Molly also shook her head, "Nope."
Both of them turned to look at Hansen.
Hansen said, "He was gone when I woke up, he didn't say a word to me."
And then, they started discussing about what happened yesterday.
Mia looked at Hansen, recalling his gluttonous behavior, "Dad, can't you keep it in your pants for once?
If there's tasty grub around, I'd definitely save some for you. Yet, you sneak around behind our backs.
What about trust, huh?"
Hansen replied, "Is that my fault? You guys were acting all sneaky yesterday, anyone would have been
suspicious."
Molly said, "You didn't even know what that stuff was. If I had put poison on it, I'd be attending your
funeral by now."
As soon as she said that, they all fell silent.
The awkward silence was broken by the servant bringing in breakfast.
The servant asked, "Mr. Hansen, should I call Leo to join us for breakfast?"
