Chapter 264
Chapter 264
Andre was all set to take his nephew to work when Hansen chimed in, "Can I keep Leo with me today?
I could use his help."
"What could he possibly help you with?" Andre asked.
Hansen said, "He can help me kill some time, is that okay?"
Hansen then shooed Andre off to work.
Not long after, Leo saluted his grandpa, "Thanks, gramps."
With the car keys in his hand, he was free at last. As he drove downtown, he picked up Mia and Molly
from the roadside, honking the car horn as they hopped in.
The girls settled their tab, and the trio was finally free.
Back at the office, Andre couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. He couldn't focus on the
documents in front of him. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
Suddenly, he called Chad early in the morning, "Hey, where are you?"
"What's up with Molly?"
Andre asked him, "Is Grandpa Elmer in the late stages of cancer?"
Chad was speechless. "Crap, Molly's gone."
Andre then called Mia's parents, "Is Mia home?"
"No, we haven't seen her since this morning."
Andre was speechless. "Crap, she's gone too."
He called the housekeeper, "When did Leo leave?"
"As soon as you left, he was out the door."
Crap, all three of them were gone.
Andre hung up the phone, gripping it tightly as he walked to the window, taking deep breaths, trying to
stay calm. Meanwhile, the trio was freely roaming around the Mastin family's property.
"Mia, this bottle looks expensive," Molly stated, before accidentally shattering the pricey item.
Mia, sitting on the arm of a couch, looked at some documents, "Are you going to file a lawsuit?"
Ellory and Kyle held their breath in anxiety.
Mia flipped through some papers, "Female: Naomi, failure to fulfill alimony obligations. Son-in-law:
Bruce, multiple acts of violence against his father-in-law... Well written, this lawsuit's worth at least
$30."
But the lawsuit quickly turned into scraps in Mia's hands. She tore it up.
Molly smashed all the valuable items in the room, then went to the kitchen to grab a knife, "Mia, what
do you think of this knife for injuring people?"
Ellory and Kyle's pupils contracted in fear.
"Murder is illegal, you'll pay for this."
Molly, wielding the knife, replied, "Who says? When Naomi was pregnant, you got rid of the baby in her
belly, and I didn't see any legal repercussions for you."
She walked over with the knife, "Sorry, I don't know how to fight. I'll have to borrow your knife to attack
you."
"Who are you?"
Molly smiled, "I'm Molly."
"That's impossible, Molly died fifteen years ago."
Mia frowned, how was Ellory so sure Molly was dead? She walked behind Kyle, delivered a swift kick
to his knee, forcing him to kneel.
"Leo, whatever he did to Naomi, do the same to him."
Leo walked over and slapped Kyle hard across the face, sending him sprawling. His hand stung from
the impact. He had been wanting to give Kyle a good slap for a long time but never had the chance.
Today he was going to vent his pent-up anger. He clenched his fist and punched Kyle in the face before
he could get up. Blood trickled from Kyle's mouth.
Mia looked at the terrified Ellory, "You said Molly's dead? How did she die?"
If she remembered correctly, Hansen had even kept the burial a secret from his own son fifteen years
ago, how did Ellory know?
Ellory stared at the cunning Mia, he almost let something slip. He shook his head, "I don't know."
Mia glanced at Kyle, who was now a mess on the floor, "Do you want to know what it feels like? I can
help you with that."
Soon after, the cries for help from Ellory and Kyle could be heard from outside the Mastin family's living
room.
Half an hour later, at the police station, a distress call came in.
The dispatcher picked up, "Hello, the Mastin family? Three people? Okay, got it."
The dispatcher hung up and announced to her colleagues, "We got a call. Ellory and Kyle are in trouble
again. This time, three people broke in and attacked them."
Chad put down his cup, "You guys stay put, I'll handle it."
"But chief, it's three people this time. Are you sure you can handle it alone? Maybe I should come with
you."
Chad replied, "It's probably just a neighbor dispute. I'll go alone, you guys stay here."
The dispatcher remembered the crying voice over the phone, it didn't sound like a neighbor dispute at
all.
Chad had already left.
At the Mastin family's place, Mia smashed the bathroom window and climbed in, confronting Ellory who
was on the phone, she punched him in the face and shoved his head into the sink, turning on the cold
tap. His phone was tossed in the toilet by Mia.
Outside, Kyle was left to Leo and Molly, while Mia stayed in the bathroom with Ellory.
"Who was backing your family's massive fortune all those years? Without them, you wouldn't have
lasted this long," Mia questioned.
Ellory shook his head under the water.
Noticing the time, Mia pulled him out of the water to breathe, not letting him drown.
Soon, three cars pulled up outside the Mastin family's house. Four people got out. As soon as Naomi
entered, she saw Molly threatening Kyle with a knife.
Leo was kicking and punching him.
Bruce instinctively tried to cover his wife's eyes only to be stopped by Naomi, "Where's the third one,
where's Mia?"
As soon as Andre entered, he started looking for his wife. Molly and Leo pointed in the same direction -
the bathroom. Andre walked over and kicked the bathroom door open.
Startled by a loud noise, Mia's shoulders tensed, but when she saw who had arrived, she immediately
greeted with a smile, "Honey, you're here to save the day again."
Andre was so pissed that his temples were throbbing. Naomi rushed into the bathroom and saw that
Mia had already exhausted Ellory, leaving him collapsed on the ground, waiting for rescue.
"Naomi, you're here too, look, me, Molly, and Leo are all sticking up for you."
At these words, Naomi's eyes welled up with tears. She walked in, wrapped her arms around Mia,
"Sweetheart, why do you always have to stir the pot?"
"Bad guys need taking down, and I'm the one to do it."
Andre separated the two who were hugging, he took Mia by the arm and led her out.
In the living room, Molly's "weapon" had also been confiscated by Chad.
