Chapter 366
“Divorce?”
“Yes, divorce.” Olivia sounded certain.
Tyler looked at her and then asked, “This is what you want?”
She replied, “Our marriage is just to get a child. Now that we are about to have it, we don’t have to continue with this charade.” Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“I guess you’ve considered this for a long time?”
“What do you think? Tell me what more can I do? I’m the Mrs. Harris who cheated. Tell me what I can do
to make things right?”
Tyler looked stoic. “You think getting a divorce will calm the storm out there?”
“It’s all my fault. I hope you can think about it.”
“Think about what? Getting a divorce to cancel out that you were cheating? Or are we getting divorced so
outsiders can see how complicated our family is?”
He sounded sarcastic, but after that, he let go of her hand.
Olivia lost her energy but still managed to keep herself calm.
Tyler put some distance between them and looked merciless. “Stay in the house until the rumor dies down. I’ll solve the issue between you and Claude.”
He then walked away.
Olivia stood there and suddenly felt empty. She took a few steps back and fell onto the couch.
Olivia couldn’t sleep that night, consumed by uncertainty about what was unfolding outside. She gazed into the night sky, feeling suffocated by the darkness.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed, displaying Claude’s name on the screen. She jolted but didn’t answer it. This was unusual, and she wondered if Claude was behind all this.
She had no idea what was happening.
Her phone kept ringing until it ran out of battery.
Olivia didn’t walk over to it even when that happened.
The next morning, the house was still quiet, unlike how it usually was.
Tyler sat downstairs, awaiting his subordinate to return with information.
Keith told him, “What do you plan to do? I know you’re busy, but you should pay attention to what happens in your family too. You’re also responsible for what happened! This has never happened in our family.”
After that, he slammed the glass he was holding onto the table, and the coffee splashed out onto the
table.
Initially, Tyler was silent, but then after a prolonged pause, he said, “This is all a misunderstanding. I’ll take care of it and clear things up.”
“Misunderstanding? The pictures were fake? Yesterday’s paper is still on the table. Take a good look and tell me if it was just a misunderstanding.”
