Chapter 2909
"Mister Fermer, you did help my grandson and we are grateful forthat. However, we've repaid our debt to you by coming here. What happens next is out of our control. Good luck!" Dorian sighed.
Though Felton helped Bucky before, it was just a small favor and there was no way that Dorian would sacrifice the entire future of his family over such a small favor.
It was simply not realistic.
"Why you!" Felton was stricken and fell into despair.
No friendship could last forever and profits remained the priority for all.
Out of consideration for the greater good of their respective families, Dorian and Cassius decided to back down.
It was normal and as devastated as Felton was, there was nothing he could do.
"Mister Wolf, the Grimstons and the Underwoods are willing to retreat. Will you permit US to do so?" Cassius looked at Leon nervously.
Though Leon made the promise to forgive them so long as they backed down twice, they were too arrogant and refused to take the chance twice.
Now that Leon was sure to win, it was unknown if Leon would agree to let them go, so both Dorian and Cassius were worried.
"What? So you two are backing down now? What was all that from earlier, then?" Leon laughed angrily with a dark expression.
He allowed them to leave twice out of consideration for the greater good, yet the two of them ignored him.
Now that he was prepared to attack, Dorian and Cassius caved.
It was quite cheap for them. Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
"Well, Mister Wolf, we were wrong for offending you. Please have mercy and give us another chance," Dorian and Cassius said awkwardly.
Regardless, they had to apologize to Leon in the hope of making peace for the sake of their families.
"Good for you! The gods are merciful and I'll give you one last chance to back down. Remember, this is the last time. If you dare to come after me again, you won't be as lucky!" Leon scoffed, his dark expression easing in response to their sincere tone.
Though he was surely going to win, the Grimstons and the Underwoods had plenty of skilled martial artists. If he attacked the two families, he would cause casualty and may even ruin the sales drive.
Since he did not hold a grudge against the Grimstons and the Underwoods, he did not wish to take lives or ruin the sales drive.
Therefore, it did not matter if he gave them another chance.
"It won't happen again," Both Dorian and Cassius were relieved and promised.
Leon was too powerful and they were lucky that he was willing to let them go. Hence, they would never come looking for trouble again.
"Alright, you may leave!" Leon said coldly and waved his arm at Henry and Chandler, calling them back.
Dorian and Cassius sighed an inward breath of relief. Without further delay, they bid their farewell and left with their men.
