Chapter 2026
Chapter 2026
Lowell's lips twitched. He was really helpless when it came to the kids of the Jones family.
They were all so smart, meticulous and sharp towards those things.
Once they decided to, they would be able to call out a person easily.
Lowell had always known that Sebastian was a smart boy, but what he never expected was that he had such a sharp tongue. His words hit right at his heart like a sharp blade, with much straightforwardness and precision.
Or was he just helpless and rather obvious with his feelings, with all of them plastered on his face that the entire family had realized that something was different with him? Was that why they all got worried?
Looking at Sebastian's gleaming eyes, Lowell knew that Sebastian had seen through it.
Sigh!
It seemed like that was the case.
He was a little embarrassed and wasn't sure how to answer at that moment.
Fortunately, Grace came to his rescue.
Grace just patted Sebastian's shoulder. "Your uncle has always been mindful of these things, and that's since he's young, so to prevent himself from going the wrong way. That's why, even when it comes to relationships, he doesn't want to be impetuous about it, which is good."
"Mm." When Sebastian heard her answer, he immediately turned to look at her and smiled. "I guess you're right, mom. I was just afraid that Uncle Lowell was overthinking and he might overlook and miss out on his happiness."
Grace was taken aback as she looked at her son and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
"It's simple, mom. I just want to tell Uncle Lowell that if he meets the one, it would be better to confess earlier, otherwise, he would miss out on the opportunity to have his own happiness." Sebastian chuckled. "I'll go in and have my lunch because I will need to head back to school later. Mom, Uncle Lowell, hurry and come in."
After a pause, Grace nodded.
She thought about Sebastian's words carefully, as she was having a feeling that there was more to what was said.
She looked at Lowell again as he let out a bitter laugh.
Sometimes, it wasn't about making the confession.
If it was a girl he liked, he wouldn't miss it, regardless if he confessed earlier or later.
However, if the girl doesn't like him, what was the point in making a confession?
Back in the dining room, Grace and Lowell were eating lunch together with Sebastian.
"Sebastian, is your sister working hard these days?" Grace was still worried about her daughter that had yet to return home for a few days then. "Yep, Sylvia has been working very hard lately. She doesn't even come out for a break after classes," Sebastian said, "She has read up on all of Gary's notebooks, and she has also gone through Ernest's notes. I heard that the exercises that she's doing now were given by Mr. Trevino." "Is Mr. Trevino still teaching you all now?" Grace asked, the question sounded as if there was hidden meanings behind it.
"Mr. Trevino is done with conducting classes for us," Sebastian said, "We are now doing revision, and all courses are completed. That's why Mr. Trevino is not giving classes anymore."
"Oh." Grace nodded.
"Who is Mr. Trevino?" Lowell had no idea of who Kendrix was. As he was listening to the conversation between Grace and Sebastian about Mr. Trevino, he felt a sense of doubt and surprise.
"He's an intern teacher," Sebastian said and smirked. He put on a cunning face and added on, "He is very handsome."
Lowell raised his eyebrows.
He didn't ignore the cunning smile on Sebastian's face but was just rather surprised. How could a little boy like him show such a face? It was treacherous.
Lowell's intuition told him that the Mr. Trevino guy's existence must be crucial, and perhaps, he was also the reason why Sylvia had not returned home and was rather hardworking those days.
"Oh, I see." Lowell gave a meaningful smile, as if he understood what Sebastian meant.
Grace glanced at Sebastian. She had the feeling that those days, her sons were being slightly strange towards the existence of Kendrix, and they seemed rather excited about him.
However, Grace did not say much about it.
Sebastian quietly ate his meal.
The pride in his eyes couldn't be concealed. With regards to having a brother-in-law that was much older and was even his own teacher, he wouldn't object to it at all. He would even feel quite accomplished about it.
He was looking forward to that one day when Mr. Trevino would become his brother-in-law.
It was quite exciting just thinking about it.
At the sea.
Gary and Celeste had been at the sea for three days.
After having that strong alcohol, Gary spent almost half a day to sober up and recuperate.
For the first time, he deeply felt that alcohol was not a good thing.
As he woke up that day, Gary was feeling better physically, but some emotions started to stir up.
Celeste was still snuggled in his embrace, sleeping soundly.
However, he was already fully awake.
He wanted to do something to kill the quiet time.
It was just that he had yet to completely prove his innocence, and he wasn't sure if Celeste could believe him.
He tightened his embrace on Celeste.
Right at that moment, Celeste turned her body to face him.
Gary was startled as he looked down and stared at the girl in his embrace.
Her small nose was lightly grazing his arm. His skin burned a little as she breathed onto it.
It was ticklish.
Gary's gaze deepened, as a flame started to burn deep in his heart.
Should he do it?
Gary hesitated.
At that moment, Celeste's leg was suddenly lifted and it landed on his thighs.
In an instant, the control he had in him collapsed.
That was because her stance was too enticing.
Gary took a deep breath, working hard as he told himself to not lose control yet.
He could no longer be so unrestrained towards Celeste.
The had yet to wash away his shame and he wasn't entirely innocent yet. He could not continue to hurt Celeste.
However, as Celeste slept, her posture was getting more and more alluring.
She kept on moving but her eyes were shut, like she was looking for a more comfortable position.
However, her unintentional actions were igniting the flame within Gary, crushing his determination to not do anything.
He raised his eyebrows and carefully thought back on how he had spent the past two days with Celeste.
When he was hangover, he told Celeste that he was sure nothing happened between him and Janice and he wasn't in the condition to have done anything. It was also pretty obvious that Celeste was treating him a lot better.
He could at least feel that Celeste wasn't rejecting his intimacy as much anymore.
That was especially so when he hugged Celeste. She was no longer rigid and stiff.
Gary cherished the way they interacted a lot.
He lowered his gaze to look at Celeste. His gaze got gentler. He wanted so badly to have her beneath him and properly make love to her.
With that in mind, his hands were the same as his gaze, fuelled with desire.
His big hands were already lightly and gently caressing Celeste's waist.Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"Gary." Suddenly, Celeste called out in a low voice.
Gary was shocked as his hands froze. He was blushing with shame. Feeling like a pervert, he was clueless as to when he started doing that to
Celeste.
The barrier between them was not yet completely removed. Why was he so engrossed in those gentle touches and beautiful moment instead of investigating the matter?
Gary retracted his hand and pursed
his lips awkwardly. He realized that
Celeste had not woken up, and t
seemed like she was just calling out his name half-asleep.
Gary sighed deep down, as he felt like he went overboard for making Celeste so upset.
She trusted him wholeheartedly, both physically and emotionally, and it made Gary feel gratified and moved.
His hand once again explored Celeste's body.
Celeste was in a daze and she was
also unsure as to how long she had slept for, but as she felt the hand underneath her shirt, she couldn't
continue to sleep anymore.
"Celeste, I really want to, but I don't think I can." Gary was in a dilemma and his voice was hoarse and low. It was almost inaudible.
His spoke right in Celeste's ear, the heat from his breath was blowing right onto her ear.
As his slightly sweaty hands caressed her waist, it felt somewhat strange.
Celeste couldn't help but to let out a soft moan.
Wasn't she feeling just the same too?
She wanted to.
She felt like her hormones were changing drastically, or was it rather normal.
Oh, no!
It must have been too much.
That was because she felt like the chemistry between Gary and herself had become stronger, and she was falling more and more for him.
"Celeste, I... I don't think I can hold it in." Gary flipped over and he suddenly had Celeste pressed underneath him.
Celeste was stunned as she was being pinned underneath Gary, her eyes shot open, looking into Gary's pitch black eyes.
The two faced each other as their eyes met. Sparks burst out from their eyes and everything became clear.
Nobody was stopping the other, and they had no idea how it all started.
However, it was certain that it had started, just like that.
