Chapter 1339
Their raised voices were piercing to Rosalie's ears. The customer was nasty with her words, and the boss retaliated.
"Come, everyone! Come and see how terrible this boss is, bullying her customer!" the customer snarled scornfully, her disheveled hair blowing in the wind.
Some people hadn't fully grasped the situation yet and turned around to look on curiously, thinking that the boss was truly guilty of bullying her customer.
"Before commenting on other people, you should take a good look at yourself and see how terrible you are! You come here every day, insulting and slandering others. Who else should I scold other than you? You're always coming here and calling my food disgusting trash. You even insulted the chef! Since you don't like it, why do you still come day after day? Are you asking for trouble? You're so foul-mouthed, do you really think you're some dainty fairy?" the boss refuted.
"Just look, everyone! The boss is bullying and scolding her customer again! She doesn't want to do business properly. All she wants to do is insult
us."
The customer was deliberately provoking the boss and dragging all the other customers down with her. She deliberately tried to incite the other customers into thinking that the boss was scolding them, too.
The boss was, in fact, not insulting others but specifically this woman.
Unfortunately, some customers believed the woman's accusations and thought that the boss was scolding them. In turn, they joined the lady in kicking up a fuss in the restaurant.
Naturally, the boss had to retaliate.
She immediately said, "Don't you dare try to incite other customers! I was scolding you alone since you're the only mad dog barking around here. No one else is as annoying as you are.
"You come here for a free meal every day and then go crazy, barking at me like a mad dog. You've been doing this for over half a year, aren't you tired of it? Why don't you just scram?
"Go on, leave if you have the guts! You can't bear to leave, can you? You're drooling at the sight of my dishes. I'd say you have guts if you decide never to step into my restaurant again, but you come every day, asking for food and then insulting my chef. Do you have a screw loose or what?"
"You..." the woman sputtered angrily.
"You really love getting insulted, don't you? You're still here even after I berated you like this, trying to get free food. You're just asking for trouble, aren't you? You like hearing me scold you, is that it? That makes you feel accomplished, since someone's attention is finally on you. Tsk, you're so pitiful!"
After arguing with the woman for a while, the boss couldn't be bothered with her anymore and told her employees to chase her away.
The woman left after having a free meal, but she was likely going to come again for free food and to hurl insults at the boss again.
"My sincere apologies, everyone. That was embarrassing. Please allow me to explain, I was just scolding that woman alone and not any one of you. That woman always comes for a free meal and insults our chef, slandering us and making personal attacks. She even tries to spread untruths that my chef is sick, calling him names and saying our food is disgusting trash. She's been doing it for over a year.noveldrama
"If she doesn't like the food, she can very well not come. But she comes every day, and I can't chase her away no matter how hard I try. She clearly has a problem in her head. She likes talking badly about us with other people, and some of them believed her words without even trying our food and joined her in insulting our restaurant.
"I can understand if you think our
food isn't good after trying it out and you leave a negative comment, but if you insult us even before trying our food, acting as though you know my restaurant better than I do, I refuse to accept that. Such people who simply hop on the bandwagon and seold others unthinkingly are as crazy as that woman. Shouldn't they use their brains and wonder why she comes every day despite not liking our food?
"Everyone has their preferences, and not everyone enjoys our dishes. That's normal f someone doesn't enjoy our food, they can just decide not to visit our restaurant again next time. There are plenty of other options around. Why can't she go there? Yet, she insists on coming here, squeezing through the door the moment I open it, hogging a table, and picking dishes she wants while spewing her mouth off. She spoke badly of our restaurant to chase other customers away so she could have all the food to herself.
"Since she's a woman, it isn't appropriate of us to make a move on her. What if it blows up? She doesn't have parents and is quite pitiful too, so we didn't call the cops. Encountering someone like that really Opened our eyes to the kind of people existing out there. A child without a proper upbringing is pitiful indeed. With such a lack of manners and culture, how is she going to lead the rest of her life? She's going to end up on the street in time to come."
What do you think?
